Porterhouse Central in Dublin

I ate here for lunch Saturday with a friend we ordered the Cajun Burger and chips and a beef burger and chips and it was just okay, no real flavour and presentation was very sloppy. The chips were like skinny frozen ones and were over cooked I think, now others people food look nicer then ours so possibly we just picked the wrong item on the menu which we felt was very limited. The new decor of the pub I didnt like as I preferred it when it was The Porterhouse more old style, the service however was really good and staff were friendly and attentive and looked after is really well. Would I go back, for a few drinks yes but not for food or the atmosphere.

Nice Spicy margaritas however made different by different staff

I asked for two White Hag beers, one was at the end of the barrel but the barman let me try what had been poured anyway because I asked if I could. He was happy to pour me something else and adjust payment. Huge selection of beers, many Irish.

Great bar for beer lovers, wide range of options but also cocktails and wine. Staff are friendly and location is very central.

Wonderful bar apart from one major gripe, €13 for a draught cocktail is quite ridiculous and not worth the price, a great selection of beer on tap which I'd reasonably priced and food which is acceptable for a bar, maybe slightly above the usual standard, but taken aback by the ridiculous prices for premade cocktails.

Nice place, spacious, wide choice on the menu, friendly and helpful staff. Food a little too spicy

Just a lunch of soup, bread and some waffle fries, but they were the BEST waffle fries. The rest was pretty great too.

Lots of choice of beer, a super friendly team, a good atmosphere, very decent food for the price, all cheaper than at Temple bar. Don't hesitate
