Lovely character pub with friendly helpful staff.

Had a drink Christmas Eve 🎄. Everything good except the temperature. Please open a window the heat was unbearable.

Had lovely meals two weeks in a row -- love the chicken wraps delicious

We stopped in after a brief online search for food near Ennis. The atmosphere, service, and value were excellent as was the meal. Declan was our server for a very fine repast.

Pub food in an authentic Irish bar / restaurant. Pleasant and helpful staff and a nice pint of Guinness. There's a nice seating area outside for when the sun shines...

I loved the decor and the atmosphere in this lovely pub where the staff were first class. They were helpful, efficient and pleasant. As a vegan my options were limited but they always found me some good quality food to eat. Like most Irish eating establishments, the Preachers Pub confused veganism with coeliacs (gluten-free). The two have nothing in common. Coeliacs (gluten-free) have an illness, whereas veganism is a life style. More education about veganism is badly needed in most restaurants and cafes in Ennis as the two are constantly confused. Despite that I had two really enjoyable lunches in the Preacher's Pub and would happily go back again.
