What a fantastic place. The cleanliness, helpfulness, uniqueness, calmness - all excellent - not to mention the food and great way to have breakfast in your room. Great place to explore the area with so much to do and see in South Kerry.

This place is a gem in the middle of Cahershiveen. Worth a trip just to treat yourself to a meal here. The ambience is beautifully thought out. The fish and meat and veg here is some of the best on this island and it is cooked by a team that treat it with respect and give you plates of food you will enjoy from start to finish.

The room was SPACIOUS, I mean it. The biggest room during our trip across the UK and Ireland. It was clean and well equipped (not luxury comfort but homey). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. It came in big portion so we had some leftover for the road trip. The hotel provides on-site parking on first-come first served basis. Nice backyard and restaurant.

Totally recommended!
Every time we come on vacation it is a must-see place to go to dinner, the food is simply delicious!!
The people who serve are very friendly and always make sure that everything is fine during your dinner.
I had fish tacos as a starter (as a Mexican I couldn't miss them) and they are really good, the only thing that would improve them would be the size of the tortilla, since it was very small.

The seafood curry was amazing. Apparently the owners brother owns the seafood market so they get first pick. The fish and chips were amazing as well. Finish it off with the sticky pudding. And if you’re tired of Guinness try the Killarney which is brewed just down the way.

We absolutely loved staying here! The Skellig room was spacious and so clean and comfortable. The pastries, fruit, salmon, and china tea cups—really lovely! The onsite restaurant was also excellent. The owner stopped by our table to chat-very personable and friendly. Our stay in Cahersiveen, the boat tour of Skellig Michael, and staying at Quinlan & Cook were highlights of our trip in Ireland.

About the hotel: the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast concept (fresh pastries are left outside the door in the evening, the rest, including smoked salmon, brie, yoghurt, can be found in the fridge in the room, coffee is made by the Nespresso machine) is great, especially if you are just passing through.
The car park is at the back of the hotel, meaning when you come to Goenbeigh, drive past the hotel, take the next alley on the left, drive to the end, then left again, then you will see a black gate on your left. Enter with the code according to the email.
The booking system could be optimized a little. As a result, I received so many emails and WhatsApp messages (twice because I booked two rooms) that I overlooked the relevant information. But everything is fine.
Dinner here was great, fine beer selection, lots of fish, but not only.

The most divine fish and chips. The haddock is fresh and flaky and the battered crust is cooked to a perfect golden crisp.
The rooms were very clean, bright, and well appointed. It had everything we needed. I look forward to my return.
