Quays Bar in Galway

Stopped in for a non alcoholic Guinness and to listen to some music. Vibe was very kick back and relaxed. Not rowdy or annoying. Enjoyed the hour I spent there.

Stopped here for drinks and dinner. The food was good! The music cannot be beat. A very fun pub to check out when visiting.

We passed the Quays and heard live music on a Wednesday afternoon, so we decided to stop in for a listen and two of their self-proclaimed best Irish coffees in town. Finally, I thought, a good Irish coffee that doesn’t charge €9 for Folgers instant mix. I was right on two out of three. They still used instant coffee for some reason, despite having a working coffee maker with fresh beans right at the bar; but it was better than any other instant coffee I’ve had on this trip, and it was a smidge less than €9. I’d give the overall experience 4 stars, but honestly everything was great except the inexplicable instant coffee

got the bread and butter pudding, cause I was feeling adventurous, I think I was too adventurous with this one, wouldn't order it again but it was fun to try, staff forgot about my desert and I had to wait about 20 extra minutes, it's grand though was super busy so I don't blame them. Other than that staff were super friendly.

Fish was on par! I loved the sauce that came with it. Great atmosphere downstairs if the live music is too loud for ya.

The place is really cool and they play live Irish music, but it's true that when it gets crowded it's chaotic and quite uncomfortable because of the sheer number of people. Even so, it's a worthwhile visit in Galway.

Cozy place. Varied menu and good food. The fish and chips, the salmon: wow.

Excellent seafood in the heart of the Latin quarter. We enjoyed oysters, salmon, fried fish, and burgers. Try the mushroom platter appetizer! It is delicious. The first floor has live music and multiple bars. The dining room is downstairs. Get there early if you want a seat to watch the live music. The service was excellent and we had a great time!

The wait ton the bar take my order was a bit long, but the atmosphere is really lovely and cozy. Great vibe overall—I’d come back.
