Solid Irish pub and restaurant! Stopped in for some pints of Guinness and to hear some Irish music. Decided to have dinner in the attached restaurant downstairs, glad we did. It was fantastic! I ordered the mussels and my hubby got the roasted chicken. The mussels and the broth were amazingly tasty, fresh. The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. An excellent evening in the Latin quarter.

About a 40 min wait. But expected with the area it’s in . I had my first Guinness and the best Guinness stew . Delicious would definitely recommend!

Quay’s is in my opinion the best bar we have hit in Ireland! We spent two nights in Galway and came each night since it was so good! Pro tip: as soon as you get there, go down to the Galway girl restaurant and grab a sensor so you will know when your table is ready since it fills up FAST! By night two we knew the drill and booked it after our tour to get a spot. The variety of drinks is amazing and the oysters are AMAZING! Same with the Mussels and Burgers! The portions are also great! I am looking forward next time I come to Galway!!

Restaurant is downstairs, bar with live music on the ground floor. I had the steak, which I thought was good. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, bar area is lively with good music.

Food and entertainment where great. But why sell a guinness that looks like a pint of milk. None of the bar staff could pour a pint of Guinness properly. I was here ten years ago and they made time to pour a proper pint of Guinness. Now its just tossed up as fast as they can get it out. You are getting to the stage where you are just ripping the tourist off. You can do bettet than that,just push the guinness tap away from you during the last few inches. Stop adding more gas by pulling it towards you.

Un lundi soir à Galway avec notre fille de 15 ans. Nous n'avions pas pu y aller le samedi parce que les pubs n'acceptent pas les enfants le soir. Nous avons mangé dans la salle du bas. Très bons burgers et fish and chips. Puis nous avons terminé dans la salle du haut où des musiciens jouaient des standards irlandais mais aussi du folk US. Super ambiance.

10/09/2025: Excellent food, friendly staff, and a welcoming pub. There were 11 of us, and everyone was satisfied. The fish soup and vegetable rice were also excellent.
