I had such a good time there. The service didn't have that extra mile, but wasn't bad as well. My food was tradicional and simple, fish and chips, although was great. Perfect fish. Crunch outside, soft inside and no oil excess. I recommend and would be back there.

We went for the live music and really worthed. After the band finished, another one started and it was only Monday. I can imagine what's on the weekend. The Guinness 👌

We were walking by and HAD to go inside. The music was delightful and the crowd was too fun. A great pint of Guinness and incredible vibes. Would recommend for vibes alone! We stopped by a few times!

We stopped in on the advice of our tour guide and it was amazing! It's everything you would want in an Irish pub. The three man band was incredible and had the place singing along and dancing. We got lucky in that some friends got a table up front with 4 extra chairs just minutes before we entered!

The Connacht Hotel - Ruebens Restaurant

02/12/2025: Amazing Family/Kid friendly hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean throughout. Excellent food. Dinner and Breakfast, were both delicious. Would highly recommend, for a trip to Galway. Situated very close to the city centre, bars and shops. Will definitely return again!

01/11/2025: Enjoyed a wonderful lunch today in the company of other travelers in this exciting city of Galway. It was a nice surprise to stumble upon a restaurant that catered to my dietary needs. The menu wasn't overwhelming and there was a nice variety of choices to choose from. I ordered the Terryland Reuben with a vegan cheese which was VERY good and afterwards enjoyed a complimentary slice of vegan cake that was absolutely lovely. The portions were perfect! I actually left with the cake in a take out container. If you're looking for a quaint and affordable restaurant to enjoy a vegan meal, this is the place!
30/10/2025: We had an incredibly delicious meal here. Finding good restaurants isn't always easy for vegans. And the chai was so good! Highly recommended for visitors to Galway.
