We were staying nearby for the night and were treated to a lovely family meal - beef and Guinness stew on the special board which was delicious. Service was very attentive and the kids were well looked after with cordial, ice cream and a lolly on the house. Thank you

I had my car in for a service and I was feeling a bit peckish. I called into the Raftery's rest. I had the fisherman's breakfast. It was just perfect. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, have had lunch here twice in last two weeks due to visiting Keanes flower shop Turkey n ham, bacon n cabbage soup, kids chips n sausage Special mention for the brown bread, its next level, had today with soup, hope to get recipe Call passing , good food, good service, good price

The girls were very friendly and a there was a great Atmosphere in the dinning /pub We had Tea and apple pie and apple crumble i never had anything as nice .well done to the staff of Rafterys Jim and Maria West limerick

We've been the last two nights and had a great time. Great friendly staff and good choices on the menu. We love the atmosphere - a great advertisement for Ireland! We would specially like to mention Sylvia,who helped find us accomodation after we had a problem where we had booked. Thanks so much!

The Anvil Bar

21/10/2024: Superb Irish pub, home cooking but excellent. I highly recommend
15/10/2024: Ate here 3 out of the 4 nights I stayed in Castlemaine, while I explored the Dingle Peninsula. I ate at a very "well-known" fish and chips place in Dingle, and they didn't stand a chance in comparison with the fish and chips at The Anvil. Well done πŸ‘ βœ”οΈ πŸ‘.
