Randles Hotel Killarney in Killarney

I recently stayed at Randles Hotel in Killarney and overall had a good experience. The hotel itself is lovely, with convenient parking which made our stay much easier. Our room was nice, although it was a bit cold at times. On the positive side, the bathroom was beautiful and very well maintained. A special mention goes to Justin at reception, who was absolutely amazing. He was so kind, welcoming, and went out of his way to help us sort everything out he really made a difference to our stay. Unfortunately, our experience at breakfast was not as pleasant. Aziz, who was working there, seemed quite stressed and made us feel a bit unwelcome. On top of that, we were overcharged for breakfast and had to go to reception ourselves to resolve the issue, which wasn’t ideal. Overall, it’s a good hotel with great facilities and some excellent staff, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the breakfast service.

We stayed here in February with my husband and our baby for our first trip away as a family. The staff were fantastic—so welcoming and helpful—and the food was delicious. Without us even asking, we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was such a lovely surprise. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that offered an upgrade without being asked before. It made our first trip away with our baby feel extra special. There was a real family feel to the hotel, which made the whole experience even more comfortable for us. We look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Very nice hotel.. bedrooms spotless and roomy......lovely, friendly staff...great selection of food at breakfast,beautifully presented...would highly recommend.

Stayed in the townhouse, it was a few min walk from the hotel itself so more awkward to use the hotel facilities like bar/ restaurant . About 15 min walk to city centre. The room was very nice but the TV was damaged. We stayed 2 nights and although they survived the room once, they did not change the sheets, just remade the bed

Newly renovated hotel with spacious rooms and nice lounges around ten minutes from Killarney on foot - You can park beneath the hotel which is a nice bonus. However, the walls between the rooms and corridors are so thin - we were woken up at 1am by people coming back to their room talking loudly. We had seen other similar reviews like this before booking and brushed it off as we both travel frequently, staying in loads of hotels each year, but can honestly say this hotel has a real issue - we have never had this problem before! In addition, our room faced the car park and a member of staff decided to do the glass recycling in the early morning which we could also hear as if it were in the room. Real shame as the hotel itself is very nice but they need to provide ear plugs if this level of noise is to be expected! (for reference we travelled in Feb so off season)

Everything's great, we got to stay here as part of a gift. Received a room upgrade and tried the lamb stew.

Really fantastic experience. Location is great as it’s a little away from the business of the downtown and only a very short nice walk. Parking is easy and allows very easy access to Killarney. My nice experience at Randles was also greatly increased by Justin. He was at the front desk all 4 nights I was there and was not only extremely helpful, but seemed to take a genuine interest in my day to day activities and offered some great advice to make all my activities better. Major props to Justin.

Beautiful hotel close to the town of Killarney. Perfect hospitality and excellent breakfast.

This hotel was honestly one of the loveliest places we stayed domestically! Everything was superb and actually one of the only times in hotels were we just couldn't find anything to fault (not that we were looking!!). From small touches like chocolates at arrival with a hand written card from manager, to room being SUPER clean (including outside windows with not a spot of smidges or dirt, hard to ever find it!!!) and all other comforts in the room, to Justin at the reception with his friendiness and efficiency, and the manager on duty every morning at breakfast (who even gave a courtesy "apologies your breakfast was delayed" when there was literally no need for it whatsoever because we arrived late and the place was already packed, so we were prepared to wait & also it wasn't even that long!!) as well as the little lady running around like crazy as it was busy each morning (still with a wide smile on her face) to also the location (literally bang in city centre!). Just superb! Highly recommend and we will stay again for sure!! Oh and food was brilliant!

Very friendly host and lovely spatious rooms with great decor throughout the hotel. All in all a really relaxing stay and the complimentary water on site was a lovely touch
