This pub truly exceeded my expectations! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort. Whether you're stopping by for a casual drink or a full meal, the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The food is exceptional—every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It's clear that a lot of care goes into the menu and preparation. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, which only added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, delicious food, and excellent service, this pub is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back soon!

Such a bad place to book for a group of people. More than 20 minutes to bring one drink, way more time for the food. The food was delicious but more than 30 min to bring it, and the brought it wrong, plus they wanted to charge twice one deink bc they were so messy in the bar area, they didn't notice I already paid for it. Anyway, the waitresses did their best.

We both had the special which was open steak sandwich with pepper sauce. Honestly it was one of the best we've ever had ! Gorgeous food. Lovely vibe and great service. Would deffs come back

Fabulous food, so good we sent our compliments to the chef for the wings which were just the right balance between crispy and Frank's hot sauce, with blue cheese dip. Prawns pil pil and loaded nachos also great. Chips superb. Super service and an amazing, dog-friendly outdoor seating area, complete with water bowls. Archie (pictured) loved it!

Old man pub at its finest. Can get very crowded, very loud and very stuffy quickly. The food is delicious but everything can be very pricey, especially compared to the average costs of things like a Guiness. Fun activities during the week to attract anyone though like live music, pub quizzes etc. And a solid community that really makes you feel like you’re in the heart of Rathfarnham.

Great pub. Genuinely surprised because it used to be a no go area.
