Stayed in river island hotel for couple of nights. Very comfortable bed. Very nice restaurant and food. Friendly staff too.

Had a brilliant stay here at the weekend. Couldn't fault the staff, they were very friendly and couldn't do enough for their guests. Highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful break.

Hotel is great , staff very friendly and helpful, good location. Breakfast was simple but delicious - service excellent, big thank you to Gavin great personality,lovely and hard working man . Definitely we will be back.

The sauce was rich and full of flavour, the rice perfectly cooked, and the naan soft and fresh. All credit to chef altaf. 24/02/2026: Iv been getting takeaways and deliveries fro. King Kebab since moving to the area. Absolutely amazing food every time, kebabs are so fresh and korma/masala just full of flavour. The guys in there are so kind, professional and always have a good chat. I can't recommend their food highly enough.

The Forge Coffee & Market Store

14/11/2025: Heading south for the weekend. Well worth the slight detour off the main road before Killarney. We had a very tasty toasted sandwich and a cold plate with two types of chicken, some ham and a bit of cheese. Very nice fresh food.
08/10/2025: what a cosy little gem!! i don’t often do reviews but im a student nurse and this place kept me going. i always loved popping in for lunch/a coffee, such lovely staff as well ! :) definitely recommend !! ❤️
