First time there, good crowd in the bar. No food served upstairs. We did not eat so unsure of food quality. Smoking area at the front, you need to walk through this area to get into the pub. Staff were friendly atmosphere was nice, albeit a little loud

Beautiful old pub, over 150 years old. What a nice discovery. Beautiful dark atmosphere inside, wood paneling, old pictures hanging on the walls, very comfortable tables and seats. One of the best pints of Beamish in the city and some great service from the staff. Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening. Highly recommended.

Lovely cozy atmosphere and great service. The lamb shank and the burger were exquisit. My friend and I loved it. An excellent Irish pub. We highly recommend it !

01/01/2026: We sat as requested in our reservation, next to the window in the middle of the facade for perfect view of the Ha penny bridge. They replay promptly in the emails. The service is really good and active. Also friendly and smart. The food is very good in terms of quality and quantity. Taste is something personal but we all happily surprised with the unbelievable combination of the sweet pickled herring. Bravo to the chef for the idea. Also the treacle bread is unique. We paid 240€ for 3 starters and 3 main + a bottle of wine.
