Beautiful old pub, over 150 years old. What a nice discovery. Beautiful dark atmosphere inside, wood paneling, old pictures hanging on the walls, very comfortable tables and seats. One of the best pints of Beamish in the city and some great service from the staff. Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening. Highly recommended.

Lovely cozy atmosphere and great service. The lamb shank and the burger were exquisit. My friend and I loved it. An excellent Irish pub. We highly recommend it !

In cerca di un locale tipico siamo incappati in questo, ci attirava il nome. Entrando Γ¨ stato una scoperta dietro l'altra. Tipico irlandese, luci soffuse, accogliente come il personale. Il cibo ottimo, ovviamente l'immancabile birra Guinnes. Ci siamo tornati pure restando solo quattro giorni a Dublino. Complimenti

19/07/2025: This place came recommended from a local in Dublin. This is exactly what you want for a classic Irish cafe. The full Irish breakfast and Irish coffee were spot on and delicious. I also cannot say enough about the incredibly kind and friendly owner and staff. They made the experience one to remember and were very helpful as a first time visitor to Ireland. Give this place a try for an authentic Irish breakfast and skip all the tourist traps out there!
15/07/2025: Went to to Dublin from Edinburgh for the day (just doon the road) with my daughter and The Stage Door was our first port of call when we arrived in the town by bus . Alan (the manager) had us in stitches πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ from the very start when we were looking at the menu outside, his charm, wit and friendliness made us feel at ease . It was busy when we arrived but waited only minutes to get a table outside as the weather was nice. Got two full Irish breakfasts which was served within a short time of ordering. Breakfast was brilliant Alan πŸ˜‹πŸ‘πŸ€, will most definitely have a breakfast here again on my next visit , Yeah baby!!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚,as your server would say !! Totally made our day, well done you guys πŸ‘Œ
