We were looking for lunch and came across Rolf's. It's located a little above the town of Baltimore, but well signposted. There's a large parking lot.
We ordered the breaded chicken schnitzel with salad and rosemary potatoes for lunch.
What can I say? The food was amazing. The schnitzel wasn't dry, topped with a fantastic breading. The salad and dressing were simply fantastic. The potatoes were perfect.
And the facility we saw was very well-maintained and clean.
The service was excellent, very attentive and friendly.

What a find. We came into Baltimore for a whale sightseeing tour and had time for breakfast. We followed the signs up the hill and came upon this pretty hotel. We were greeted by the smiling Friederike and shown to a table in the back garden, how idyllic. We enjoyed our first Irish breakfast since we arrived and it didn't disappoint. Will definitely return if we're in the area!

Well what an experience. From the moment we arrived the hosts and staff were super friendly, shown to our room which was perfect, clean, everything you need and cosy. Lovely shared lounge area and beverages. We dined in twice and WOW the food was fantastic, fresh, home made perfectly cooked. The Chef was attentive and very lovely, Friedrich the hostess was super warm and additionally lovely. We are two days in to our five day staff. What an absolute find. Thank you.

Breakfast was superb—we had the poached eggs and avocado, which were delicious. The location is remote, so a car is necessary to get around, but we were aware of that beforehand, and honestly, that’s part of the charm of staying in a Country House. Freiderike greeted us warmly with a smile, took the time to explain everything we could do in the area, and let us know when they’d be available. The surroundings were lush and green, and although it was quite cold outside, the room—as well as the shared kitchen and sitting areas—were warm, cozy, and inviting.
