If you're going just go for the carvery, don't bother with Ă  la carte in the evening. Russell's used to be GOATed but in recent years the prices have gone up and the portions have gotten smaller. Still a good carvery though, the chicken curry is great.

Great food, great value You won't leave here hungry. Great selection of carveries on offer and they really fill your plate. And it's good food and very tasty. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend and return here again.

23/01/2026: Limerick's historic center. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants nearby. That's why I hadn't been here for about four years. We returned and weren't disappointed. The atmosphere and crowd were very pleasant. The staff were friendly. We found a spot by the fireplace. It's doubly enjoyable in winter. I really enjoyed the seafood pie. Ireland can be very diverse, but this is truly a good, solid Ireland. We're sure we'll visit again. Special thanks to the bartender who served us. He's not only friendly, but also has a great sense of humor. Excellent.
18/01/2026: Lovely little pub, typical in the area. Excellent sea food chowder pie. Perhaps, my favorite thing i had in the town.
