Sacre Coeur in Sneem

Don't know why but just didn't expect something like this in a small vilage! Amaizing

We did the fantastic Ring of Kerry and then arrived at this restaurant. Good food and tasty beers. Nice place and good service.

Beautiful food, been living in sneem six months and first time trying. Three people with starters and mains. Only negative was scampi would have liked crispy just a small bit too soft. Service was great, staff friendly and attentive. Definitely will be returning.

What a gem of a find this restaurant is! A gorgeous family run establishment in Sneem town, which I dined at with a group of friends on Saturday evening. This is such a cosy traditional family restaurant with a lovely Irish feel. The food is AMAZING! There is a huge selection on the menu including fish, meat and vegetarian options. I had crab claws to start ( need to also mention how fresh and soft the brown bread was!!) and the scallop mornay for main - it was divine! The scallops were so fresh and tender. Some of the party I dined with had fresh fish form the menu and just wow! The origin was huge and so fresh! The protons generally was so generous and the vegetables and potatoes that accompany the mains were plentiful. Particular mention to the delicious carrot mash!😍 even though I was so full I couldn’t resist a coole swan affogato to finish!! The staff were so friendly and checked many times on our table to see how everything was and if we needed anything more etc I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone travelling to or through the area and I cannot wait to come back again soon!

The most amazing food and service. I had the seafood risotto with monkfish scampi and the lemon curd eton mess with cream. Everything was cooked perfectly. The presentation was great. The service was excellent. I would absolutely highly recommend this place

As dog owners who bring our furball every time we visit sneem, we never had the opportunity to eat at Sacre Ceour but this weekend we saw some umbrellas outside do decided to give it a try. Oh boy we we delighted we got to, what amazing seafood, beautiful presented, perfectly cooked and delicious to eat. Really friendly and helpful staff and great vibe about the place. In fact it was sooo good, we went back a second night and look forward to visiting again soon, thank you to Trish and her team, congratulations to you all

OMG.... what a great experience. I am infamous amongst my in my friends as the 'stickler' when it comes to restaurants and service.... place the glasses on the table so that the labelling faces the guest.... and the volumetric measure faces away from the guest!! The Sacre Coeur in Sneen scored well. The food was excellent... well portioned, and served HOT! I decided to go 'full hog'. I had soup of the day.... one of two soups of the day!... mushroom.... excellent (10/10). My mains was hake... with pureed potatoes & veg.... as good as it gets (8/10) I enjoyed a sorbet for desert (8/10). I had a glass of wine... I recall it was a Merlot(?)... it was OKish. It had not been opened on the day. OK... house wine is what it is... 7/10. The table setting was simple. (8/10)... the decor simple, but tasteful (7/10). The high ceiling promoted a somewhat sterile 'dining room' acoustic backdrop. I feel that an inspired interior designer could improve this. The overall attention to detail / cleanliness was excellent (10/10). I was impressed at the way the staff cleaned up after a somewhat messy (normal!!) toddler... not just chuck the 'crumbs' on to the floor and leave it there to be trodden in (standard practice elsewhere here)... nope, all swept up and cleaned properly... WELL DONE! Finally.... the service... younger (20s) servers... best described as sufficient... courteous... reasonably attentive, but did tend to turn away before I had finished speaking. Unfortunately they missed a chance to smile, and offered a minimum engagement with the guest. This is untypical for this region. The prices.... perfectly acceptable. Will I go back.... FOR SURE.... this time with a group!
