Sage Café in Youghal

Great food here and staff very friendly and welcoming would recommend it👌

I have recently visited the sage cafe and they are now making very good flat whites, lattes and cappuccinos I have edited this review from 2 stars to 5 stars, well done! *NOT a flat white - This is a message to the owner and staff(opportunity to improve). I asked for an oat milk flatwhite, I'm a barista myself, I got a perfectly made capuccino (with a perfect coffee ring around, that will pass in the spoon test) made with normal milk, I had a taste and confirmed with the staff that it wasn't oat milk, (I'm dairy intolerant) they deeply apologized and made me another coffee, this time a LATTE, with oat milk (at least). All the coffees are the same price, the coffee beans were delicious and the pastries were delicious too, but if you wish to have a coffee shop PLEASE invest some time and money in a barista training course, for you and the staff, that was embarrassed and kinda funny. it probably explains why most people around me were having tea or soft beverages. I really liked the place and I would like to go back, and have a flat white (with oat milk). Please.

Cream on the cake was rock hard on most recent visit but usually great
