Fantastic restaurant great food fabulous atmosphere and great service

Beautifully presented, delicious food. Service was impeccable. Two courses for four people, beer and a bottle of wine for less than 200 euro. Also a surprise birthday desert pour moisture! Lovely Manager. Highly recommend.

I had spent the day touring Achill Island, and wanted to treat myself. I had read a few reviews and went on my own - it was simply superb from the minute I walked in. I ordered slow cooked beef-cheek and a glass of Malbec, but was served some artisan bread with a delicious sun-dried tomato tapenade and fennel butter. Then a palate cleansing sorbet, followed by the main. It was all so good I decided to have the Baklava with Pistachio ice cream, with another glass of Malbec - and again just delicious. At €54, I was stunned at how good it all was. You would pay much more than that in Dublin, and it would not be as good. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Sage. Oysters were from the local Killary Harbour. Awesome! All three courses were amazing and the service was excellent. We received complimentary breads tapas snaps and a sweet. Thank you Sage! 🙏

If six stars were available I’d give them in a heartbeat. Absolutely outstanding food but above all the service is a testament to anyone in the business. Hard working yet kind and approachable staff make Sage into a must visit destination for people who want the fine dining experience without the intimidation. I will absolutely be back next time I’m in Westport and I’ll be telling any possible visitors to come here.

We ordered the beef cheeks and were very pleased. The service was great. The starters were good and complementary finish marvelous.

We ate here on a Tuesday in June and enjoyed a delicious meal. The restaurant was pleasantly busy and the staff were friendly - making for the perfect relaxed atmosphere to enjoy our evening. The menu offers a tempting selection of locally sourced dishes: i had the scallops with red risotto to start (caramelised scallops on a creamy risotto- perfect!) followed by the parmigiana (a crispy baked top with cheesy tomato aubergine- great to dip the crispy sautéed potatoes in!). The palate cleansing sorbet before the main, and the homemade chocolate-peanut bomb to finish were great touches too! Altogether a decadent evening experience!
