A local spot. Awesome. Dogs allowed, fantastic selection of local beers. What you are looking for in a local pub. Not touristy at all. Loved it.

A fairly small pub, with several craft beers on tap. Nice music group but very cold staff and poor atmosphere. Very fair prices. It's not easy to move around in it and it doesn't make you want to spend time there.

Fantastic selection of on tap beers, ciders and cans / bottles. Really good atmosphere and you can also 'Spin the wheel' if the choice is overwhelming

Huge beer selection. There is definitely something for everyone here. Highly recommend stopping in for a drink or 2. I had to stop in during both days of my stay in Galway.

Ard Bia at Nimmos

15/06/2025: Love this place. We got lucky and walked in for late lunch with little wait but it can get pretty busy. Dinner you almost have to have a reservation. The place has character. The drawers on the tables are full of notes from prior patrons. The food was so good. The french toast with peaches and mascarpone. The bread was so soft it almost melted in your mouth. The eggplant vegetarian dish was also quite good. The spiced beef was like korean kalbi-jjim with international twist, on a pita with leafy greans and other veggies. The kimchi pancakes were also delicious. Hot chocolate was pure chocolate but not too thick. Would love to go back.
13/06/2025: everyone was so friendly, so accommodating. Our first meal coming from the Dublin Airport straight to Galway so it helps when the service is good and the food is wonderful! Thank you

04/06/2025: Quirkiness decorated original Irish pub. Great live music, especially if you love a sing-song-along!!
