Charming as it is moldy ;) Very nice choice of pints! Good value. Nice live music. The small fireplace makes the place feel like home.

Liam, Paul, and Laura were so welcoming, which is great when you are a solo traveler. They make you feel so welcome! This is a fantastic spot to stop into after a day of touring the town. The atmosphere was fantastic!

Great beer selection, they have a wheel if you can't make up your mind. Especially for me, the fact they have two sours on tap cannot be overstated! Lovely service as well, will come back.

Excellent choice of beer. Competitive prices. Great location and away from all the tourist traps . Very friendly staff. Highly recommend a visit. Live music at the weekends Dog friendly Part of the Galway Bay brewery Great buzz from in the building.

20/02/2026: Heard a bohhrán solo here that was one of the best drum solos I've ever heard -- captivated the whole room and you could have heard a pin drop in the quiet parts. 1000% recommend.

Murphy's Ice Cream

16/01/2026: banging ice cream. Had the chocolate whiskey and Irish cream, and I’ll be thinking about it forever now. didn’t get to ask for their names but had a great chat with both of the staff (someone who lived in Lyon for a while and one of the most beautiful lady I’ve ever seen, thick accent couldn’t get anything she was saying lol loved it)
