Pleasant restaurant in downtown Killarney. It was always possible for us to get a table without a reservation. The staff is friendly and quick. The menu is very extensive. A mix of Italian and Irish. The food tastes good, but not great. The portions are huge.

Absolutely delicious real Italian tasting Pizza. Well recommended. Will be back soon. Beautiful restaurant, clean tasty and upmarket. Service so fast and efficient. Loved it. Well done!

Pasta, pizza, and ribs were all excellent. Food came out quickly. The only nit is that they could check on the table once or twice more, as we were out of water. Great looking place. Staff very nice.

From the minute we walked in here, we knew we had struck GOLD! The manner in which we were greeted, seated - left to have time to explore their stunning menu, to be completed with food that melted on the palate. Excellent value - We will be back and have already recommended this restaurant to friends and relatives, who visit Killarney - Great to see NO WIFI - Talk to each other like it was 1995 on a Blackboard. You will not be disappointed!

The Gleneagle Hotel & Apartments

16/05/2025: Stayed here for four nights on a coach trip from the UK. The room was quiet and comfortable and the food was excellent, as were all the staff throughout the hotel. The leisure centre swimming pool was superb, and provided segregated lane swimming at the time I visited, which was appreciated. Reception were very helpful, they gave me details of a 10 mile walk from the hotel around the Muckross Lake, which encompassed many unforgettable scenic features. Would choose the Gleneagle Hotel when visiting Killarney in the future.

O'Carrolls Cakes

30/04/2025: I have ordered cakes from O’Carroll’s for a number of occasions including our wedding cake and my wife’s 30th birthday. The cakes have always tasted outstanding. Everyone raves about them they are a real crowd pleaser. Gary clearly has passion for his work, the cakes are very reasonably priced, very generous portions and always fresh and tasty. Gary has also been extremely accommodating. I highly recommend O’ Carroll’s cakes for any occasion you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for all the lovely cakes we look forward to ordering more in the future.
29/04/2025: I cannot begin to tell you how extraordinary O'Carroll's Cakes will be to us, forever. We were on vacation in Ireland from New Hampshire, USA. We called them on a busy day. We were celebrating a Birthday and they went out of their way to fit in a cake for us! We had no idea that the cake would not only commemorate a Birthday but also an engagement! The cake was perfect, delicious, and beautiful. Thanks, O'Carroll's Cakes!
