Really good food, the soup is unreal, nice bright atmosphere inside too

I visited Sandyford House with my parents while showing them around Ireland. We ordered the Irish beef Massaman curry for my mom, but she found it a bit too spicy and could only eat a little. Noticing this, the staff kindly offered to bring her a different dish, but she declined. When we asked for the bill, we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had removed my mom’s meal from the check. Despite insisting on paying for it, they refused, which was such a thoughtful and classy gesture. My family was once again impressed by the kindness of the Irish people. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

I’m still amazed by the entire experience of "brunch"ing with friends here. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the beauty of the place. The restaurant is surrounded by glass on all sides, including the roof, allowing natural light to flood in, giving the space a warm and inviting feel. The décor was tasteful and elegant, and the cleanliness was impeccable. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious—each dish was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. But what really stood out was the service, which was above and beyond. At one point, we asked them to reheat a plate, but instead of just doing that, they brought us an entirely new dish, at no extra charge! Their attention to detail and care for their customers truly made a difference. It also happened to be a friend’s birthday, so we asked for her brownie to come with a candle. To our surprise, the entire crew came out singing “Happy Birthday” and put on a lovely show that made the celebration even more special. It was a personal touch that turned a simple dinner into an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a restaurant with amazing food, exceptional service, a beautiful ambiance, and sparkling cleanliness, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough!

Come here fairly often. Great size pub , looks very well.Staff are good and friendly. Unfortunately the food is poor quality. Even sandwiches are very basic. I find roast dinners very sloppy and tasteless . We are rarely satisfied with anything we eat here but always hope for the best. They have a new restaurant/outdoor space . Simple things that are wrong here , salt cellars that allow big lumps of salt to fall on food and almost make it inedible Have a look at that . As a venue , for drinks and atmosphere, I like it . But I’ll be slow about getting food again.
