As a frequent customer at Sasta for years, i was pleasantly surprised to see that they added ramen to their menu. With other Irish restaurants in Dublin that “attempt” to make ramen, I was skeptical at first but I was not disappointed. The broth is so deep and authentic. The ramen noodles could be better but my focus was on the broth and the char siu pork. I couldn’t believe what I was eating and where I was. If i told friends and family that I had one of the best ramens ever at a restaurant/cafe in Maynooth they’d think i was mad. Thank you the Sasta team for introducing ramen into their menu and for doing it the right way
Absolute great place here , favourite place in Maynooth for brunch. Outdoor area is great too !

Best place for brunch/lunch in Maynooth & Celbridge area. The variety of the menu, the portion size and the variety within the dish are all fantastic!
Great for the adventurous eater as they have things like Ube Latte (and pancakes) and Butterfly Pea Latte - check out the interesting menus on their website. The variety of coffees, superior lattes, cold brews and the amount of homemade juices is impressive.
It's a big place and they're always accommodating. They have 1 big table for 8, and the rest are 4pax and 2pax tables.
So many compliments, I have to throw in one downside to balance it out: when we came in today they were playing obnoxious dance music, which they agreed to turn down, but dance music is not cafe music. We shouldn't be eating to beat.

Sásta is always a favorite. I love the vibrant, hip atmosphere with its abundance of plants and rustic furniture. The food is consistently great, especially the burger on the menu. At €18, it’s on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. They elevate the classic burger with a garlic mayo and onion chutney, and the chips are perfectly crispy. It’s a generous portion and full of flavor.
I’ve never been to a place that offers such a wide variety of coffee options. Each time I visit, I try something new. Today, my mother had the Ube latté, which was both visually appealing and delicious. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the noise level, which can get quite loud—though it’s understandable given that it was lunchtime on a Saturday. I also love the sweet touch of the kids' pictures in the waiting area.
