Really nice food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. The pancakes were so fluffy 😍

Had the Sasta Benny, their take on Eggs Florentine. Came with perfectly poached eggs and a delicious beetroot-infused hollandaise sauce.
I added some smoked salmon which accompanied it really well. A very tasty dish and would highly recommend.
Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was relaxed and cosy.
A great lunch option if you’re in Maynooth.

Had some lunch here 2 weeks ago.Staff were friendly and food was good, but my god, the entire place was freezing cold the whole time I was there. Had to keep my jacket on and was still frozen. Surely it wouldn't cost that much to use a little heating.

Sasta arguably caters to a very specific youngish crowd. Shakshuka is definitely on the menu and the decor is house plants and dark walls. Sometimes the ambition of the dishes get the better of the kitchen staff, leading to delays.

The decaf tea is AWFUL!
We had the best meal we've had in Sásta recently. All the food was good, as were the coffees. I drink DECAF tea for health reasons. For some unfathomable reason, in Sásta, they insist on bringing the pot with water and the packaged tea bag beside it.... in other words, they don't MAKE the tea. By the time the tea bag is added to the water, the water is well off the boil. And despite getting a second tea bag ( each separately packaged in a PLASTICISED wrapper ) the tea was unbelievably weak and the flavour unpleasant.
Everything else we ordered was good, but my tea took a lot of the pleasure out of the visit for me. I'm quite easy to please normally, and I order decaf tea everywhere I go. But the decaf tea served in Sásta is worse than any I've had anywhere else. Such a shame and there is no good reason for it. Barry's, Lyons, Aldi, Lidl, Tesco and Dunnes all have decent decaf teabags at a very reasonable price and with good flavour.

Decided to go in here at the last minute. Service was great. The atmosphere was very relaxed and cosy. The food was very good. Got Chili Poached Eggs and Shakshuka. Very tasty with lots of great flavours. The only critique I would have is that there should be more bread served with both dishes. They are quite wet dishes and you only get one slice of bread cut in half.

As a frequent customer at Sasta for years, i was pleasantly surprised to see that they added ramen to their menu. With other Irish restaurants in Dublin that “attempt” to make ramen, I was skeptical at first but I was not disappointed. The broth is so deep and authentic. The ramen noodles could be better but my focus was on the broth and the char siu pork. I couldn’t believe what I was eating and where I was. If i told friends and family that I had one of the best ramens ever at a restaurant/cafe in Maynooth they’d think i was mad. Thank you the Sasta team for introducing ramen into their menu and for doing it the right way

This was a gem of a find in the village of Kilcock. I wanted a cafe just for a quick bite and I found this little place on google. It seats around 30 people and they do a wide range of foods from breakfast to lunches. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is top notch, the girls behind the counter are pleasant, courteous and efficient. Would highly recommend
NB: the parking is free for two hours while you enjoy your food
