Good place for a coffee or lunch

Sásta is always a favorite. I love the vibrant, hip atmosphere with its abundance of plants and rustic furniture. The food is consistently great, especially the burger on the menu. At €18, it’s on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. They elevate the classic burger with a garlic mayo and onion chutney, and the chips are perfectly crispy. It’s a generous portion and full of flavor. I’ve never been to a place that offers such a wide variety of coffee options. Each time I visit, I try something new. Today, my mother had the Ube latté, which was both visually appealing and delicious. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the noise level, which can get quite loud—though it’s understandable given that it was lunchtime on a Saturday. I also love the sweet touch of the kids' pictures in the waiting area.

The pancakes were other worldly. Matcha and sweet potato fries were ok. Staff were really friendly got a seat right away. Would visit again.

We had such a lovely lunch and a 10/10 experience at Sásta in Maynooth this afternoon. Our meals and drinks were absolutely delicious and the service was very quick. Special mention for our waiter Amedeo, who was so helpful and made our dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. Will be returning soon!!

Really nice food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. The pancakes were so fluffy 😍

Had the Sasta Benny, their take on Eggs Florentine. Came with perfectly poached eggs and a delicious beetroot-infused hollandaise sauce. I added some smoked salmon which accompanied it really well. A very tasty dish and would highly recommend. Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere was relaxed and cosy. A great lunch option if you’re in Maynooth.

Had some lunch here 2 weeks ago.Staff were friendly and food was good, but my god, the entire place was freezing cold the whole time I was there. Had to keep my jacket on and was still frozen. Surely it wouldn't cost that much to use a little heating.

Sasta arguably caters to a very specific youngish crowd. Shakshuka is definitely on the menu and the decor is house plants and dark walls. Sometimes the ambition of the dishes get the better of the kitchen staff, leading to delays.

This is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. Great customer service. Really tasy food and good value. Highly recommend.
