Scotch Bonnet in Malahide

We stopped off in beautiful Malahide and got very hungry. We stepped into Scotch Bonnet and were greeted by smiles and great food. The atmosphere is very nice and family friendly. I recommend a steak, fish, chips and pizza as well as a nice drink. I will return to Ireland and will definitely come back here.

We love the Scotch Bonnet. Great ribs, friendly staff. However last visit, we could see the food wasn't as good. Large portion of calamari for €22 was tiny, really overpriced. Was expensive overall for family of 5.

Their wings and ribs are well known and for good reason. They are delicious I would highly recommend them. The staff were lovely and welcoming and efficient.

Got takeout from here on my last night in Ireland! Was delish/ and I got a bottle of hot sauce which I loved - couldn’t bring back to Canada since I had opened there and didn’t want to smash in my luggage but the place was super nice - everyone working their super friendly. I would highly recommend going for the great food and good atmosphere!

Make sure you book a table, it's so popular we didn't get a place the first time we tried. Best to ask for a table that is NOT at the entrance, best tables are upstairs btw. The ribs a gorgeous, I can't fault them at all, they were juicy tender falling off the bone finger licking yummylicuously good. Could have been a little more fries, the coleslaw was perfecto, matches fe flavour profile of the ribs to a tee. Large portion is the only way to go, In used to the rack being much bigger so a double rack would have just been perfect. The ribs eye steak was ok, over cooked when ask for med rare, was medium done, good meat CAN'T be over cooked, it's just fact. Definitely the best rib destination in Dubs, you won't be let down. Enjoyed our time here, great service from Kevin and the ladies. Wishing you all the success you deserve, I'll be back soon.... Excellent service and good food.

Posto molto carino e camerieri molto disponibili. Dentro il posto merita proprio tanto, bello carino e confortevole come fa foto, fuori purtroppo ha tutto un altro “sapore”, non all’altezza di come si presenta dentro. Cibo abbondante e ottimo, abbiamo mangiato il classico fish & chips, le alette di pollo ed un hamburger, birra e sidro! Da visitare, se possibile prenotate per stare dentro!
