Scotty's Famous Burgers & Wings in Galway

23/10/2025: Bad experience. I was excited to try some unique things here. The vegetarian mushroom burger was recommended by a friend, but there were none available when we visited. The alternative falafel burger was dry and cold, and while I appreciate having vegetarian options, I would not buy again. I tried bovril chips, which were a generous portion covered in gravy and pork shavings, but intolerably salty so I could only eat half, would not buy again. The honeycomb and marshmallow milkshake contained no honeycomb, and grated marshmallow that clogged the straw, would not buy again. And finally we were overcharged by €11. The ambience was nice, it's good that there were sauces on the table, and I liked receiving sweets instead of a mint afterwards, but I'm not planning to return to find out if their other menu items are better.

08/09/2025: Really tasty burger & mac ‘n’ cheese. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff as well, and they gave me a little tub of sweets to take away when I left, which I thought was a nice touch.
