Seabank Bistro in Malahide

I went mid week with a couple of friends and we had a gorgous meal. My main fish dish was delicious and generous. The service was a bit slow but they were very busy. Would recommend

Amazing French Restaurant. Delicious seafood and the duck à l'orange melts in your mouth. Vey quiet and pleasant atmosphere.

Didn't book in advance but only a short distance from out hotel. Friendly staff and very welcoming. We had the seafood platter for two but could have for three. Main course was delightful.

One of the best spaghetti I have ever eaten in my life. I tried the local fruit ones, with shrimp, calalar rings and mussels in natural timate sauce and fried cherry tomatoes. Spectacular!!!

This is a fine dining seafood experience and all I can say simply is this. It's the best fine dining seafood I have ever had and with a good white wine selection, divine. Had shared seafood platter with extra oysters and garlic butter lobster. Excellent and melted in my mouth. Service was friendly, helpful and guided. It wasn't too busy thankfully and this is why I havegiv3 atmosphere a 4, as I think it could feel a little cramped if busy.

Good food let down by bad service of our waiter. He was the same who took our reservation over the phone, when i noticed already there was a problematic language barrier (5 rounds to get my name right). The same guy served us, took our order without taking note, and got the order for our kids wrong not once but twice. It was difficult to communicate, i had to triple check everything that was agreed to make sure there was no misunderstanding, and i was left everytime with the sensation that something would have gone wrong. Last but not least, we got the wrong bill (prepared once again by the same guy): 465 euros and some 20 items, instead of 140 euros for 4 items. No way to get confused, and yet.. We interacted also with another waiter who seemed way better trained in hospitality and was pleasant to interact with. I don't generally mind the service too much, and i tipped as usual, but this restaurant has the pretence of being in the upper range of quality and style (at least the prices reflect that), so not matching that with professional service is disappointing.

What a fantastic place, this hotel is not only great for families but as our son is older who we travelled with is now 18 he was able to join us in the adult only swim up bar, this is a great added attraction for us, it made our holiday more of a relaxing holiday than it is normally. Rooms very nice clean and airy restaurants were as expected brilliant, we love it here, we will return.
