A wonderful restaurant. Great food with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are very knowledgeable friendly and welcoming. There is a Daly menu blackboard specialising in fish dishes but also serving excellent stakes ,vegetarian and alternative selections.

Lovely restaurant on the sea front. Very relaxed interior and friendly staff. They have a short menu, however the best menu is written on the wall as specials. We had the seafood platter to share followed by lobster also sharing. The food was delicious and service with a smile. We ordered wine and an extra glass at the end. We will definitely return to taste some of the other delicious fare. Merci ..

Had a lovely dinner here, prompt service and the best crab claws I’ve ever had. Good wine list matched to a versatile menu. Staff great. Highly recommended venue.

Being on the coast there are not many places to eat good fish. We chose this one because the posts had photos of fish. Well, without further ado, for me monkfish doesn't need that much sauce... it came, as I saw in the photo, "loaded" with sauce... when for a good monkfish, a grill and a little sauce on the side for the customer to manage as they see fit is more than enough.

Dining at Seabank Bistro in Malahide was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in one of Ireland’s most charming coastal towns, this bistro is a true hidden gem for seafood lovers. The menu celebrates the ocean in the most tasteful way — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I tried the prawns to start . For the main course, the lobster and chef’s linguine with seafood , and beautifully complemented by a medley of seasonal vegetables and a light lemon butter sauce. What truly sets Seabank apart is the atmosphere. With cozy interiors, soft lighting, and a view of the harbour, it’s the ideal setting for both a romantic evening and a relaxed gathering with friends. The staff were exceptional — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the food and service. Seabank Bistro doesn’t just serve seafood — it serves memories. A must-visit if you’re in Malahide or anywhere nearby.

We had been regulars at this resturant as the culinary standards are excellent but over the past year the specials menu has essentially remained unchanged , in fact some of the choices , monkfish curry, seabass, fish and chips have remained unchanged for years. Given the standard of the chefs, it’s difficult to understand the reason for the short repetitive menu which does not encourage return visits. Having said that the food and ambience are excellent for an occasional visit. Thorview

20/09/2025: A wonderful place in the small town of Malahide, where you can eat well and watch sports on the dozens of TVs inside. This historic establishment, steeped in tradition, is probably the best place in Malahide to eat or simply drink a few pints of excellent beer. To order, you have to go at the counter; they don't come and ask you at the table. They then bring your food to your table. Beautiful, spacious, and clean facilities. Fair prices and not overpriced at all. Go there, you won't regret it.
18/09/2025: went in after Ireland v England in cricket...good pub..and a good band on afterwards....
