Seabank Bistro in Malahide

Dining at Seabank Bistro in Malahide was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in one of Ireland’s most charming coastal towns, this bistro is a true hidden gem for seafood lovers. The menu celebrates the ocean in the most tasteful way — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I tried the prawns to start . For the main course, the lobster and chef’s linguine with seafood , and beautifully complemented by a medley of seasonal vegetables and a light lemon butter sauce. What truly sets Seabank apart is the atmosphere. With cozy interiors, soft lighting, and a view of the harbour, it’s the ideal setting for both a romantic evening and a relaxed gathering with friends. The staff were exceptional — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about the food and service. Seabank Bistro doesn’t just serve seafood — it serves memories. A must-visit if you’re in Malahide or anywhere nearby.

Being on the coast there are not many places to eat good fish. We chose this one because the posts had photos of fish. Well, without further ado, for me monkfish doesn't need that much sauce... it came, as I saw in the photo, "loaded" with sauce... when for a good monkfish, a grill and a little sauce on the side for the customer to manage as they see fit is more than enough.

Genuinely one of the nicest meals we have had in Dublin. Sticky Toffee pudding was unreal!

The best meniu that I tried. Friendly atmosphere. I can talk about cleanliness separately(which is a bit rare to see in Ireland, no bad smells or anything dirty), clean cutlery. Everything that I ordered was very tasty and well combined. The waiters know their job well and can advise you on what to choose. So they are part of very good team. I will definitely come back here. Highly recommend!

Wonderful classic French bistro. Quaint and located across the street from the ocean. Seafood dishes range from traditional (fish and chips) to modern fusion (red Thai monk fish). All were equally good. The owners came out to greet each table and were extremely warm and engaging. Will return for sure when we travel back to Dublin in the future!

Nice food and good atmosphere. Had Sunday lunch here. We had four different dishes and all were good, wine was selection was decent and staff friendly.

Now the lobster is amazing, fresh from the tank. The seafood served here is great quality and well presented. Great for the family, good portion sizes. Definitely worth a visit.
