The oldest pub in Ireland , I couldn't tasted the food but I tasted a delicious Guinness, Cozy place and very nice atmosphere 👌

Historical Sean’s Bar is an unforgettable experience. Knowing it’s considered one of the oldest pubs in the world makes it even more special. The traditional interior, warm atmosphere, and welcoming staff make you feel right at home. Great selection of whiskey and beer. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Athlone!

This place is the king of bar history. Learn to pour a Guinness. Try the pink gin. Take it all in. My wife and I only had drinks no food.

A must stop for those traveling across Ireland. Had a great time, everyone was very friendly.

If you happen to be passing through the town, don't hesitate to stop by.

Sean’s bar is a must see. Just minutes off the metro. Great pints and brilliant whiskey. Had a chat with Tim about whiskey, not sure if he took a breath for the first 30 minutes. Historic and class!!!

Absolutely amazing lots of history, friendly service

Very nice old pub with a lot of character, apparently it's the oldest, even though it's probably a newer structure in place of the original. The facade let's it down though.

Stop for coffee and Bailey. You won't be disappointed.
