The most incredible breakfast and great coffee! We had the Turkish eggs and veggie breakfast. Every single element on the very full plates tasted just perfect! Cannot overstate how incredible this place is - brilliant food, really friendly and quick service, excellent music& atmosphere on a grey drizzly morning.

I think this the best place in Cork for brunch or lunch. It is rare nowadays to find a place like this where each item on every dish is homemade and so well thought out. The food is delicious.

We had the brisket toasties, honestly I expected a bog-standard square toast. But my god, when the sandwiches came out, I was dancing in my seat. Then came the crunch , delicious buttered crispy bread on the outside, soft on the inside and the filling, meat and sourkraut all blended to give me delightful textures and flavour.
They won my heart by selling Palestine Cola, so it was not difficult to stay and try out different things, tried the flat white, delicious. And the lemon drizzle cake, that was LEMON. Moist, fragrant and delicious.
Happy experience, I'm glad I managed to get a seat!

Unfortunately, we were short on time, so we had to take our order to go. However, the café is very nice and cozy, inviting you to linger. Many of the dishes on the menu would have appealed to us. Our kimchi cheese toastie was delicious and nice and crispy. We only found the price of €13 for a sandwich to go a bit too high.

The Sea Salt Cafe ratings must reflect the proximity to the port and high tourist exposure. The space is small, the service was underwhelming and the offerings were limited.
We had a full Irish and an egg and chorizo foccacia. Lovely flat white. Sausages a little overdone on breakfast but everything else good. Only seats about circa 25 people, was busy when we were there but also every time we walked past it over that weekend. Toilets upstairs.
I went to Sea Salt with a friend on a lovely sunny day in Cobh. We were met with a friendly and attentive barista & waitress Yvonne. She asked if I’d like my tea with the food - I did and felt it was a nice touch. She assured us we could sit out in the sun and that she would be out to us. I ordered the Turkish eggs which was a healthy but delicious and flavorsome meal with a lovely hot pot of tea with a quaint tea cup to accompany it! My friend ordered a coffee which Yvonne checked and ensured was gluten free oat milk (not everywhere has this alternative). She was friendly and pleasant and checked on us to make sure all was to our liking. Beautiful location, food & staff. Thank you Yvonne for a wonderful experience!
