Really tasty food! Amazing service!

Perfect for newcomers in Dublin

I was in this restaurant for a short visit to downtown Dublin on a business trip. Given my arrival time I thought I could not find a place open for lunch (it was about 2.00 in the afternoon) and instead, I was amazed that the kitchen was open regularly. I ate the fish soup and the fish and chips, the latter the best I have eaten in recent years, better than those tried in the UK. Fantastic the waitress or the owner, originally from Eastern Europe but that gave me a nice culinary journey in Irish traditions. Highly recommended considering that next door is also the Tample Bar which is an icon of Irish live music.

Traditional and delicious Irish food and they have a lot of gluten free options. I definitely recommend this place.

The Shack is a luxury Steak and Seafood restaurant. The meat is high level. They serve only beef from Australian grain fed Wagyu and Black Angus cattle. The selected farm was awarded in The Steak World Challenge in 2019 - 2023! They cook and grill on fire🔥

Had a weekend brunch here, seated outside. The staff were so kind, accommodating and patient with the 2 trouble maker chihuahuas we were accompanied by.They even served the puppies water. The fish and chips were gorgeous as well as the lamb shank, chowder and chicken burger we have ordered. Nothing to fault! Atmosphere was very lively, busting with tourists and people enjoying the match. Unfortunately, there were no pictures taken as there was too much excitement to dig in. Lovely experince! Super thanks to the staff and compliments to the chef!

A visit is a must when in Dublin......

Typical restaurant, but not in a pub atmosphere. Kind, friendly and very helpful staff, as well as very attentive. We ate very well!

We visited this restaurant next to the Temple bar for dinner while in Dublin and it was great. It's an Irish restaurant so you can find the usual items on offer such as Irish stews and chowder. I went for the Irish stew which came with bread and tasted brilliant. My better half went for the seafood chowder which was also delicious. Pricing was very reasonable for a filling dinner and the service was great. Highly recommended!
