Shack Restaurant in Dublin

We went there for some traditional Irish food: lamb stew and seafood chowder, and it was great! We loved the flavors, and the chowder was packed with real seafood ingredients absolutely delicious! They’re also happy to share the recipes for each dish, and you can even buy their cookbook for €25. It includes the actual recipes they use for the dishes served there.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food was not only delicious, the drinks were above perfection, but the service was outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Food tasted good, but it took FOREVER to get it. It took me ~40 min to get bangers and mash and ~15 min to get a slice of pie. The place was about half full.

This is literally THE best restaurant my family ate at in all of Ireland! The manager, didn’t get his name (tall shaved head Irishman), is incredible and very passionate about his work. We had a party of 6 and they were busy but we ordered drinks on the patio while we waited for our table and just watched the action across the street at Temple bar. The atmosphere inside is top notch and the food is SOOOOO good! We ordered: lamb shank, bangers & mash, Irish beef stew, the chicken dish, and appetizers and it was all extremely good. Literally best food we had all trip. We’re in Rome now, but heading back to Dublin before our final departure and I’m planning to eat here one last time…it’s that good.

An amazing restaurant! We chose this place for dinner the last two nights, and each time was a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. Today was my friend’s birthday — I simply asked if they had a candle, but they went above and beyond by bringing out a surprise cake after the meal, and they didn’t even charge us for it. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. You are truly amazing.

Visité el restaurante temprano un jueves por la noche en mayo. Pedimos del menú irlandés, y tuvimos o bien guiso irlandés o guiso irlandés. La comida llegó rápidamente y era abundante y sabroso. A pesar de que el restaurante estaba ocupado no nos dieron prisa, lo cual fue apreciado. Recommended

El restaurante Shack es un restaurante irlandés de decoración típica antigua. Es un edificio del siglo XVIII. Ha estado en su negocio actual desde 1996. Está decorado en un antiguo tema irlandés. El restaurante Shack se encuentra en East Essex Street, la parte del Temple Bar de Dublín. Hay personal muy eficiente. El menú ofrece una amplia selección de platos irlandeses tradicionales. Nos dieron un buen servicio y la comida era sabrosa. Sonaba música irlandesa de fondo con un sonido suave. El personal mantiene el restaurante impecablemente limpio.
