Shanai in Dublin

Shanai is one of our absolute favorite Indian restaurants, and for good reason. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially with children. They go above and beyond, remembering our previous orders and offering excellent recommendations. The food is consistently excellent. I've personally enjoyed the tandoori sea bass, tandoori prawns, and chicken korma, all of which were delicious. Our kids adore the chicken pakora with rice, garlic naan, and chips. We highly recommend Shanai for a consistently wonderful dining experience.

Had a lovely meal there, the waiter that served the food was very nice. Unfortunately, the owner/manager was not so nice, does not have great people skills.

food was excllent except my masala which was too sweet, needs more attention and spices very much like a heinz soup -- if this was improved it could be perfect , Naan good , service lovely great beer and pretty restaurant with lovely staff.

Just come home from yet another 10 out of 10 meal in Shanai Cornelscourt … our first visit since their revamp. Absolutely outstanding food, atmosphere and service. Thanks guys and see you soon. Matt & Karen

The best Indian restaurant serves delicious food ,staff are all so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The new look restaurant is a welcome addition to the village it’s warm inviting and relaxing and the music at the weekends really adds to the ambiance.We have been eating here for 20 years plus have tried other Indian restaurants and none come close to the Shanai. Well done Reaz and staff for the new amazing interior. Keep up the good work .

Hands down the best Indian in Dublin. We have been going for years! Butter chicken is the nicest dish and the saag aloo is just so tasty. Never disappoints.
