Did most of the bars in Dublin, this was the best. Kicked a bottle and had the staff sign it as a souvenir. Amazing time. Great selection of whisky too.

Great location. Fast friendly staff pouring perfect pints! Had a good chat with the bartender Nick. Gave some great whiskey recommendations. Great ambience and food. Definitely give it a go if you are in town.

Visited on Sunday night for dinner at the bar and stayed for the music. The corned-beef and cabbage was my favorite meal in Ireland. Solo artist played a combination of traditional Irish music and pop/rock songs. Was a great experience in a beautiful traditional pub. Just a short walk from my hotel.

Popped in as it looks inviting from the outside and we were looking for something a bit traditional. The seats were so comfy at the high tables! Two glasses of red wine was £13.50, a little cheaper than the other bars. After about half an hour, a guy came in and set up to sing, so we had another drink and sat for an hour listening to the music, great voice! Lovely atmosphere in there, staff were friendly. We would definitely recommend popping in.

Our friends from France came to Dublin while we were visiting as well and we wanted a nice lunch. The pub does not open until 12:30 so we just had to wait 10 or so minutes. The pub had a fantastic air about it, great decor and you just knew you were in for a delightful lunch. Our server was top notch and he looked after us very well. The couple from France had the seafood chowder and the Irish lamb stew. My wife had the smoked salmon and I had some of the best fish& chips during the whole trip - haddock. Overall fantastic!
