Sheehans in Dublin

Searched for a place with fish and chips, and corned beef and cabbage. Both were excellent here.

Good mix of locals and visitors. Perfect location a short walk from touristy areas. Servers were sweet and energetic. Cozy and vibrant but not rowdy. Wonderful pub food and local craft beers on draught!

Lovely busy pub that serves food. Did not eat here, just beer. Great atmosphere and a warm welcome.

I first visited Sheehans Pub in 2024 and remembered that their potato soup was one of the best soups I’ve ever tasted. So when I visited again recently with my mum, I decided to treat her again. Slightly apprehensive that it might have been a one off and the quality might not match the first time, but I’m glad to say, it did. Honestly go there for lunch and have the soup. My mum didn’t want a sandwich and I asked the server, and she said that’s not a problem and they gave my mum some delicious soda bread with the soup. The female server (forgive me I didn’t get her name) was one of the nicest servers I’ve ever had, couldn’t do enough for us and super friendly - not surprising the Irish are super friendly. She, along with the food, will be the reason I will come back again when I visit again. Highly recommended!

So so good. Great staff, amazing food. We’ve wandered around all of Dublin and keep coming back. The chowder is wonderful and the ‘mighty corned beef sandwich’ is superb.

We stopped for lunch, we ate and drank well, the girl was courteous and helpful, very nice and took a nice photo of us.

My family and I had dinner here our last night in Ireland. What a treat! The food and Guinness were great, the service and atmosphere was excellent! What a great way to end a memorable and fantastic trip to a beautiful country.

The best corned beef and cabbage around! Good size portions for all food and great pints! They have two levels of indoor seating.
