Sheraton Athlone Hotel in Athlone

Beautiful hotel, rooms are amazing, checking in was abit slow and we eventually got the room keys to work after 3 different sets. Thought there might be robes and slippers in the rooms to go to the spa but you can't have everything. I'll definitely be staying again and I would recommend it. Great location and value for money.

A really good hotel, and a surprise given the size of the settlement it is in. It is really big. Enjoyed the pool, steam room, and the breakfast which was included and of a high quality with lots of variety. Bed was huge. Shower really good. Wifi easy to access in room. A really good value place to stay. Thanks.

Our room overlooked a patio attached to a reception room. Unfortunately, there was an event every night and the patrons were loud. However, the hotel was very sympathetic. The manager even presented us with a complimentary bottle of wine our last night. We enjoyed it and it likely helped us sleep. Maybe that was the manager’s intention. LOL!

Great personnel, good rooms and amazing gluten free breakfast

Great hotel, really professional staff and very clean. Great food in the bar. Excellent chef! Unfortunately , we stayed beside room 228 on 16 March and witnessed a terrible episode, audible from room 230 coming from 228 next door. A man verbally abusing his partner in the early hours - her voice barely audible but his was loud and vis clous, intimidating and frightening. WW hope this woman reads this and gets away from him. We wonder what she faces at home if he behaves like that in a lovely quiet hotel on a bank holiday weekend with no regard for anyone else. They left early without checking out at the desk, so there was nothing we could do.

They have many amenities, the food at the restaurant is excellent, the rooms are great and customer service is awesome.
