Sheraton Athlone Hotel in Athlone

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The view from the room was absolutely magical — exactly as I had imagined and hoped for. The room itself was very cozy, elegant, and everything was done to the highest standard with great attention to detail. I would like to give special thanks for the small birthday surprise you organized for my boyfriend. It was incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and it made his special day even more memorable. The restaurant was outstanding — the food was delicious and truly high quality. The service was very polite, professional, and attentive to every detail. A special thank you to our waiter, Mathew, who was exceptionally kind and provided us with an amazing dining experience. The only thing I would like to mention is that the young man working at the reception near the pool behaved somewhat dismissively towards us. I wouldn’t say he was rude, but in a hotel of this level, the attitude should definitely be better. Everything else was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for such an unforgettable experience in such a beautiful place. 5/5 ❤️

A lovely Hotel with good staff. Bar food was very good. Breakfast was excellent. Free parking.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed for Christmas. Everything was very good however I do think management need to introduce a dress code for the restaurant. I really do not appreciate seeing people coming into the restaurant on Christmas day wearing pyjamas. It is very off putting and inconsiderate. One family of 4 had matching pyjamas for both breakfast and dinner. On a separate note, I do not enjoy seeing and hearing children running amok around the bar and lobby unsupervised and screaming. This will prevent me from staying here again.

The first room we were given had two pieces of bedding that were dirty and needed replacing. It was also in a hallway where the windows looked or onto a busy corridor of passers by and had a team of college athletes who were partying all night. At almost midnight we were moved to another room, which was quieter, but the rain came in the window. It seems that the upkeep of the hotel has fallen by the wayside.

Myself and my husband got married here last new years eve. Returned this week to celebrate our anniversary a few days early. Staff amazing as always. So friendly and attentive. Always go that extra mile to make your stay memorable. Mark, Sabine, Gareth and Benjamin made our special day run so smoothly. They were the dream team to have run your wedding. From start to finish. I wish we could do it all over again. They truly cared about making everything just perfect. If you are looking to get married you wont regret having your special day at the Sheraton Athlone. Forever grateful to all the staff for not only making me and my husband feel so at ease on the day but for helping make all our guests feel so welcome.

I'm stay 1 night. Hotel is very clean and busy. Chcek in and out very fast. Parking for car for free

I really enjoyed my stay in the beautiful Sheraton Athlone. The room was lovely & dinner in the bar was delicious. Tierna in reception was exceptional. She was so welcoming & friendly upon our arrival & could not do enough to help us. She went above & beyond which was much appreciated.
