Sheridans Cheesemongers in Galway

Beautiful place, nicely advised on the wine and the cheese selection really makes you want to go back for more

Sheridan's Cheesemongers is a wonderful store that not only has cheese, but many food products that go well with cheese. There are many choices of Irish cheese which is wonderful and exactly what I want when I'm trying to eat in the locale. Definitely worth a stop if you love cheese.

It was a stunning cheese shop, great service, friendly staff when I reviewed it 3 years ago in 2022 and in February 2025 it is still all of the above. Wonderful shop to have locally.

I appreciate their willingness to make things right. Went back a second time and was served promptly by an employee who was as friendly as she was knowledgeable about cheese.

This is cheese heaven in Galway. Amazing customer service, and they give you lots of cheeses to try. Always with a pleasant smile and great knowledge on what they are selling

Nice product, but is overprice 55 euro per kg for Salame toscano And in Italy from same brand is 15 euro per kg

November 24, 2024 - end of the day visit. As a true cheese lover, getting time at Sheridans was a dream come true. The first time we stopped by they were closed (it was pretty late) but I made sure to make time the following day, even it if was close to their closing time. The gentleman behind the counter, whose name I wish I could remember, was an absolute gem. He was very helpful and shared information about the cheeses that I was interested. He led me to one of the best cheeses I have ever had- a sheep's Cashel blue. It was gorgeous. Despite only being in the city for a limited time, I still walked out with several different cheeses and several boxes of crackers. If you seriously love cheese, you cannot miss this place. I wish it was located in my city.

La mejor joya escondida de Galway. Personal increíble, bien informado y amable. Me fui con quesos, carnes y una enorme sonrisa en la cara. Encuentra este lugar, haz preguntas, prueba muestras y diviértete. Cuando nos íbamos uno de los dueños dejó caer un gran bloque de queso en nuestra bolsa y nos dijo que estaba en la casa... era su favorito personal.
