Great food, great prices, great portions, great service

Great breakfast there yesterday,, lovely girl serving ,,cheap and cheerful and fast ,,good portions ,,got full Irish and omelette,, haven't been there in years will be back again

the shepherds pie is awesome! Best chips in Ennis

Has to be one of the nicest curries ive ever tasted, loads of rice and veg and the garlic bap is delish

Good diner type food,nothing fancy. It has changed from years ago but is still nice. Had to take off one star because the staff are having a plate fight apparently, no need to slam plates so loud. Just dont sit where they bring out the food and its just about bearable

Not good went in for scrambled egg breakfast had none but could get an ommelette only wanted toast with got chips not good ommelette very greasy like the potatoe croquette swimming in grease Very dissapointed this morning with sherwood visit again 0

Best restaurant in the west of ireland without fail

Great food, generous portions, very reasonably priced even in this economy. A very diverse menu, there is something for every taste, including plenty for kids. My girlfriend said it was the nicest scrambled eggs breakfast that she has ever had. It was amazing to us how such a gem of a restaurant can be hidden in an otherwise unremarkable shopping centre in Ennis. Especially as it is a bit of a trek away from the centre of the town. Sherwood’s reminded me of some of the old school family-run cafés in Cork in the 90s that are all long gone, the ones that have been replaced by big chain stores, self-service delis and petrol station sit down areas, which is a bit of a pity. I fear that cafés/restaurants such as this are all dying off due to rising rates, inflation, automation, changing tastes and faster lifestyles. So I hope that this restaurant stays successful long into the future. The next time we are heading to Galway, Clare or Limerick etc we will be sure to visit 👍 I will say one thing negative. As others have said here, the staff are definitely a bit rude, even towards each other, which is the only reason I have given 4 stars.
