I had a light lunch in Shoda, one of the most pleasant such restaurants I've visited in Ireland. All the food was tasty, the price was very reasonable and the service was entirely pleasant and competent.

I only had coffee and carrot cake. The cake was very cold and tasteless...disappointing for such a simple order. It's a lovely restaurant with loads of potential,but I'd recommend getting the small things right.

Nice cafe. However staff sometimes slow to clean both table and floor area under table after each serving. When to Shoda last week for my morning coffee, only to find a Hugh price increase. No notice given or brough to customers attention , only the fact the price list displayed behind counter. .

Lovely cafe that can be accessed through the Glenroyal Hotel. The vegetable quiche and fries I ordered were delicious and my wife said her pancakes were amazing. While not cheap it's not overly dear compared to other places we've eaten in. Well worth a visit if you're staying in the hotel (or even if you're not).

I've been staying in the hotel next door and never sampled this cafe until today. Wow, the chicken salad was phenomenal. They even heated the chicken up which was succulent and juicy. There was loads of salad too. Very good portions for £15.
I do have one regret, though...
I'm gutted I didn't sample this place earlier. 😂
There's something for everyone in here and I love the teas, coffee and little gifts you can purchase to take away.

Shoda Market Café is a great spot with good food and a nice vibe, comparable in price to other breakfast places in the area. However, the service was just average. One issue we noticed was that they served us tea in broken cups not once, but twice. While this felt quite careless, they were quick to replace the cups and provide fresh tea, which we appreciated. Overall, it’s a good place, but attention to detail could be improved.

Food is great. But very expensive for one breast of chicken it's 6.50 that's so expensive. Coffee is also over priced at 4euro for a coffee. Two salads is 7 euro over priced also.
Lunch now is 20e crazy.

Enjoyed coffee in Shòda this morning with my friend.
The service was very efficient by a friendly young lady behind the counter who, in turn, was very courteous friendly & helpful.
Thecoffee shop was spotless airy and noticed tables were cleared very quickly after other customers had finished & left.
Definitely will be back.
