Nice coffee,bit overpriced. Yesterday 25th November went to shoda for coffee still bit overpriced but was disgusted to see on the counter a plate of about 20 mini shopbought mince pies 2 for 3euro. A pack of 10 probably costs 3euro in Tesco or supervalue. Maybe at this time of year they should be free with your coffee.

Lovely cafe. Absolutely packed on a Wednesday afternoon which is always a good sign. Chicken and stuffing sandwich was lovely as was the ham and cheese. Coffee was also really nice

We stopped in to grab a coffee and to use the facilities. Very friendly staff. Lovely area to sit and chat. Separate area for food.

Love going to shoda . Their food is always amazing. Usually going to get coffe with friends or solo. Hanna the barista, makes the nicest coffee ever. Whenever I got there for coffee I always hope she will be there. Thank you for your great job Hanna.

I've been here a few times and its always been good. Fresh and healthy food options. I left an expensive pair of sunglasses behind me yesterday but discovered to my delight ,they were handed into staff at the hotel. Rachel was so helpful and a friend was able to collect them this morning. I'm now a customer for life.

04/02/2026: There was no seating in the bar after meal, the only area at reception was only place for a drink which was freezing, staff did try to put fire to heat but didn't work. Was so cold had to move down to lift areas,then had to sit here with coats on. It's ridiculous that a hotel if this size has no seating area for those that want to have a drink.The arkle bar was full of people having bar food. We tried to get a table in the bar for 3 hours.

15/02/2026: The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, excellent service, and flavourful food. Everyone enjoyed their meal, with generous portions and takeaway boxes available if needed. From starter to main we were not disappointed. Don't forget to book.
08/01/2026: The food was amazing (I had a dumpling selection starter and Nasi Goreng main) and it arrived to the table super quick! I had trouble picking from the menu because I wanted to try everything The atmosphere and decor was very cool and not too bright or loud. It was a bit busy but that just means it is good and everyone knows it!
