Side Door Restaurant in Dublin

This place came recommended from a local in Dublin. This is exactly what you want for a classic Irish cafe. The full Irish breakfast and Irish coffee were spot on and delicious. I also cannot say enough about the incredibly kind and friendly owner and staff. They made the experience one to remember and were very helpful as a first time visitor to Ireland. Give this place a try for an authentic Irish breakfast and skip all the tourist traps out there!

Went to to Dublin from Edinburgh for the day (just doon the road) with my daughter and The Stage Door was our first port of call when we arrived in the town by bus . Alan (the manager) had us in stitches 😂😂 from the very start when we were looking at the menu outside, his charm, wit and friendliness made us feel at ease . It was busy when we arrived but waited only minutes to get a table outside as the weather was nice. Got two full Irish breakfasts which was served within a short time of ordering. Breakfast was brilliant Alan 😋👍🍀, will most definitely have a breakfast here again on my next visit , Yeah baby!!!! 😂😂,as your server would say !! Totally made our day, well done you guys 👌

This is hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life. Graham is my favorite person in the world. He is so funny and amazing. He was making us laugh so much. This was the best restaurant experience of my life. Nothing will live up to it. It was the best introduction to an Irish person. Irish people are my favorite people ever. I’m moving to Dublin in a year and coming to eat here every single morning.

Quaint, tasty food. Hit it early, I expect it gets crowded. Server was hilarious.

Visited in November 2019 during my vacation with friends, the Stage Door Café is a small cafe where you can taste the best Irish coffee in town! The staff is super welcoming and always chat with their customers with a smile!! A must-do!! :D
