Typical Irish store reminiscent of a crossroads market in France It's very good and the staff is great

Very good place. There are Polish products, but I would like more of them.

Great supermarket! It’s more expensive than Lidl, but to be fair, the products are of higher quality. However, there is one big issue – the price on the shelf often doesn’t match the price at the checkout, and of course, it’s always in the store’s favor.

Had a problem trying to figure out how to use my vouchers and a fab young girl called Laura helped me out. She was wonderful! Great experience shopping here, shop was spotless too ☺️☺️

Great selection but, as with all Supervalu supermarkets, extremely expensive

Milk Market Cafe

09/07/2025: Terrible lazy service in a non busy part of the afternoon. Wife and I both had wraps - veggie and chicken caesar. the ceasar was ok but the veggie which was supposed to have humus on it as a feature barely had a teaspon on it. It was mostly half wilted lettuce and flavorless tomatoes. The guy behind us got a pizza that looked like a frozen pizza from Dunnes. Maybe they were having a bad day...maybe this was a one off bad experience but....plenty of other places to eat in Kinsale where you'd likely be better off.
24/06/2025: Had a lovely lunch in here. The fish and chips was amazing, lovely fresh fish. All of the staff were lovely.

Rare

25/05/2025: Rare indeed. Simply the finest meal in my 76 years on this planet. Pierre our host and sommelier was the epitome of gracious and knowledgeable. As a wine geek he answered every question about our five wines in depth. We had 7 courses and 18 separate tastes. The base of the menu is seafood with South Indian spices. Chef Meeran is classically trained in London but in the last two years has added his expertise in Indian spices. The result is out of this world. We feel blessed that we were able to get a booking at the last minute. Our guide books said Kinsale was a foodie heaven. I concur. The trout main dish was smoked in South Indian spices with a heavenly sauce. The tasting menu changes daily as does the wine pairings to match the courses.
18/05/2025: Fabulous evening all round….we were so well looked after, unique flavours on every course divine cocktails and superb attention to detail. 🙏
