On our way home from Dublin and looking for somewhere to eat. Decided to give the Snailbox a try and so glad we did. Everyone was so friendly. I had the beef stew and apple pie. My husband had the Thai curry. The meat in the stew was so tender. My husband said the curry was really tasty. Dessert was yummy! Had a good playlist on. We will definitely be back.

This is definitely a must go to place,1 of my favourite places to go and eat,anything I've ordered off the menu over the year has always been amazing and have yet to fault any of the dishes on the menu,staff are friendly and always go out of there way for you,would highly recommend goin,u will not be disappointed

Another fabulous lunch. Service from entering to leaving was friendly and efficient. The Stew was delicious, as too the Thai Chicken Curry and Battered Hake. Finished off with sticky toffee pudding and icecream. Three very happy people!

A great place for dinner. Portions are very generous and the food is delicious. The managers were very friendly as well, making sure we had everything we needed without being over the top. We have been a couple of times and will certainly go back. It's very good value for the quality of food presented.

we were lucky to get in without a reservation. My husband had the Hake and I had the Beef Pilpil Pasta. I was concerned it would be too spicy (I don't like spicy food) but it wasn't at all. We also had a side of bread. Really nice meal. Highly recommend.

Cullen's at the Cottage

23/09/2024: Staying at the Ashford Castle, we were hoping for an amazing dinner at Cullen's, our first night on property. However, we were disappointed. The interior is sparse at best and divided into two dining areas, neither of which are appealing. The menu mimics the space, nothing fun and creative, just typical Irish cuisine. Forget getting fish & chips, chicken or a decent steak here. Best choice for dinner: Head over to Cong at enjoy an amazing meal at Pat Cohen's.
07/09/2024: Food is fantastic, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Grounds are gorgeous. We had a great day out!
