Class wee spot! Stopped off on the way to New Grange. Food was lovely and staff were welcoming and friendly. Would really recommend making a stop here, the decor was quirky. A lovely part of our road trip

What a great restaurant. Unique experience with the décor. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The staff were so nice including the owner who made a conscious effort to talk to us and make us feel very welcome which he absolutely didn't have to do. A lovely cosy place to go for lunch/dinner.

Excellent in every respect. Food, sevice, staff, atmosphere. We as a family love the Snail box as it caters for everyone young and old. Phillip the owner has time for everyone and runs a truly wonderful establishment. It is absolutely 5☆

The Snailbox is the most charming family-run pub/restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices, attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. It also offers excellent accommodation and is not far from Dublin airport. Philip and his team could not have been more generous to our dementia-inclusive community choir - The Forget Me Nots - when we visited recently. We cannot thank them enough for the amazing welcome they gave us and wish them the very best for the future!

25/02/2025: Looove their buttermilk pancake series. But their berry pancake’s portion is inconsistent. Sometimes the berry are poured a lot, other times the amount is small. I like it when its a lot 😍 (as shown in picture 1 and 3, same order but different days)

Cullen's at the Cottage

23/09/2024: Alojarnos en el castillo de Ashford, esperábamos una cena increíble en Cullen, nuestra primera noche en la propiedad. Sin embargo, nos decepcionaron. El interior es escaso en el mejor de los casos y se divide en dos comedores, ninguno de los cuales es atractivo. El menú imita el espacio, nada divertido y creativo, solo cocina típica irlandesa. Olvídate de comprar fish & chips, pollo o un filete decente aquí. La mejor opción para la cena: Dirígete a Cong para disfrutar de una increíble comida en Pat Cohen's.
