Visited a few times over the Christmas period, each time was really enjoyable, staff, decor, food and ambiance all spot all

Great Pub/Restaurant in Co. Meath. Just 5 mins from Ashbourne and Emerald Park. Food is fab, and staff are so attentive without being over attentive. Huge car park and wheelchair entrance. I highly recommend a visit to the Snailbox and let Philip and the team look after you.

Ordered burger n chips as it was one of the cheapest mains. All mains well over 20 euro. Burger was 21 euro! Chips were frozen chips, nothing homemade about them. Crazy how prices are going up n up. Lovely venue, overpriced though.

Lovely food and brilliant service Definitely recommend

Well the service was okay, very gentle with me. The atmosphere was exotic with that caps up the roof. The bri was delicious, surprised by the sweet sauce. The Piri Piri wings were too much salt, couldn't finish, but with Guinness it was no problem at all. Them the main was beef stew was delicate seasoned and with the mash potato, just eat together to have the best impact. A real Irish family meal for sure. Onion rings just good but no sauce with it so ask if you want. Thanks to the chef, my dinner was just what I was expecting, I'll come back. Look, the service was good, they were very polite to me. The exotic atmosphere with the caps on the ceiling. The bri cheese was delicious, surprised by the sweet sauce. The spicy fried wings, a little too salty, I couldn't eat them all, but they went well with a pint of Guinness. The main dish was delicately seasoned with mashed potatoes, eat it together to get the best impression. A real Irish comfort food for sure. Onion rings are good but without sauce so order them if you want them. Thanks to the chef, my dinner was exactly what I was hoping for. I will come back here.

Excellent in every respect. Food, sevice, staff, atmosphere. We as a family love the Snail box as it caters for everyone young and old. Phillip the owner has time for everyone and runs a truly wonderful establishment. It is absolutely 5☆

The Snailbox is the most charming family-run pub/restaurant with a friendly atmosphere, delicious food, reasonable prices, attentive staff and beautiful surroundings. It also offers excellent accommodation and is not far from Dublin airport. Philip and his team could not have been more generous to our dementia-inclusive community choir - The Forget Me Nots - when we visited recently. We cannot thank them enough for the amazing welcome they gave us and wish them the very best for the future!
