Sonny Molloy's in Galway

Stopped in for a quick Irish coffee, stayed for a couple pints after that. Nice cozy spot. Bartenders friendly and welcoming- even when it gets very busy :)

Call in on Saturday & Sunday. Bar staff were excellent and pints were delicious. Keep up the good work

We had a quick stop at Sonny Molloy's when the rain picked up. We were just there for a pint. As we sat at the bar we were perusing the whiskey selection and I can say it was impressive! We chatted with the bartender and learned a bit about the collection. This pub is fantastic. Its atmosphere is warm and charming. SUCH a great find. If I'm ever back in Galway, I'll definitely return and spend some time!

Lunchtime stop. Lovely food, steak & guineas stew...delicious and friends enjoyed the seafood chowder, steak sandwich and loaded fries with bacon and cheese

Once again, the beer saved the day. The food and service were pretty average. It was busy, but still..Even the table next to us (and locals) were a little peeved by the slow service. The Sonny Malloy's Stout, though - worth the price of admission.

Pleasant, efficient wait staff got us seated, served and put the door nicely with the short time we had on a tour stop. We had chicken gyros, beers and Irish Coffees...very good!

Very beautiful and quaint atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, very, very good food. Highly recommended.

Recommend a pint of their own stout .... delicious
