Sonny Molloy's in Galway

This place is mental in the best way, think of it as a Galway T.A.R.D.I.S, it just keeps going with more bars and rooms loved it

Great pub to stop for a beer (we also tried their stout and it was remarkable). They also have a huge selection of whiskey, which we didn't try though. We then stopped in the restaurant area. The burger wasn't bad but really overcooked. Maybe it's more worth sitting in the pub, really cozy atmosphere and always smiling service.

10 of us met up for drinks here yesterday and we had the most fantastic time, a lot of it attributed to the staff. They were Excellent. The bar staff that were on the Quay Street side of the pub from 3pm - 5pm were such lovely guys. Very helpful with choosing drinks. The outside staff / security staff were also very nice and helped us to re-arrange seating so we could all sit together outside under the heat lamp, getting us extra chairs from the other side of the pub. So, so helpful. Thanks to you all ! We will definitely be back

Surprisingly spacious, gets the balance right between luxury and authenticity.

We stopped in here while waiting for restaurants to open for lunch. I sat outside, listening to street performers, and had a nice Irish Coffee.

Good vibe, Sonny Molloy pint tastes exactly like Guinness but still good, good service, big up

We stopped in Sonny Molloy's because of their long whiskey list. Of course this is Irish whiskey. The atmosphere of the bar is also excellent. The number of choices of whiskey are bewildering but I'm sure that there are really no bad choices. We tried the Distiller's Choice Whiskey platter which was very good. Go here in Galway if you want to try premium Irish whiskey.

Commendable service, the boy at the counter was very kind in recommending an excellent Irish whiskey. Nice place and good music. An excellent experience!
