Personally, I had a plate of Cajun-style chicken pasta, which was delicious. Friendly staff, fast service. I recommend eating inside for the visual pleasure, the decor is magnificent.

Great pub to stop for a beer (we also tried their stout and it was remarkable). They also have a huge selection of whiskey, which we didn't try though. We then stopped in the restaurant area. The burger wasn't bad but really overcooked. Maybe it's more worth sitting in the pub, really cozy atmosphere and always smiling service.

10 of us met up for drinks here yesterday and we had the most fantastic time, a lot of it attributed to the staff. They were Excellent. The bar staff that were on the Quay Street side of the pub from 3pm - 5pm were such lovely guys. Very helpful with choosing drinks. The outside staff / security staff were also very nice and helped us to re-arrange seating so we could all sit together outside under the heat lamp, getting us extra chairs from the other side of the pub. So, so helpful. Thanks to you all ! We will definitely be back

21/07/2025: We stayed at The Corrib House a few weeks ago. The location is perfect - on a quiet corner yet very close to all of the action in Galway! The hotel is so clean, comfortable, and just a pleasure to be in. The breakfast was amazing, as was the breakfast room. The bedrooms were absolutely wonderful, so clean and the beds were very comfortable. A big shout-out goes out to Alice, she was so nice and helpful to us. Every person who worked there always a had a smile on, and those little things make a big difference. We would absolutely stay here again if we are in Galway. 10/10 A++!
