Station House Pub in Clifden

Our 3rd time staying in this hotel, and we had another lovely stay.the refurbished outside ,lobby bar and restaurant was done to a very high standard. Really added to our stay having somewhere to relax in the evening. The live music that was on both nights if our stay was really enjoyable. It was very chilled and relaxing not at all overpowering for the room and I think the choice of music was perfect to add to the hotel vibe. We really enjoyed breakfast with the mix of buffet and made to order. Staff were all very friendly.The rooms are very comfortable,classic and clean. The hotel is a stones throw from the town and then short drives from amazing beaches. A really great hotel all round.

Overall my stay was nice! When I arrived there was a computer issue that was causing issues for the staff, but they were still prompt, kind and helpful. Because the system was down, I was personally shown to my room (I appreciated the team’s ability to stay calm and organized during the system outage). The room was nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size! The breakfast served was great. There was a variety of options and the servers were kind and attentive. I would stay here again!

Great hotel in Clifden! This should def be categorized as a 4 star. Great accommodations, good restaurant and bar, great location and the service was definitely 5 star! The staff were so accommodating and kind and helped us store our bikes and navigate details on our cycle trip. Special shoutout to Fiona and Shauna and the numerous porters who were fantastic and kind. Would always recommend!

In the heart of Clifden, nice place to keep fit, “oldly worldly” station house bar with outdoor seating, restaurant & recently renovated hotel near art galleries, designer shopping area & horse riding.

Really enjoyed our 4 night 3 days walking stay at the hotel. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. Food was generally very good, with a choice of restaurant, although one day it was a little inconsistent. The hotel and rooms were very clean and smart.

Room was lovely with local wool lap blankets in the bed. Construction started at 930 Saturday morning with drilling against exterior wall. Pool and wet steam room was amazing! Hard to find entrance (because of construction at back maybe!?)

In the heart of Connemara, this historic place is a delight.
