Station House Pub in Clifden

A very pleasant experience throughout despite renovations taking place. Friendly and helpful staff made my stay enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Food was very mediocre for the price

Excellent hotel , very tidy and clean perfect location brilliant complex , 0ne minute walk to main street, bar Excellent staff friendly and a lovely touch of free sandwiches and finger food

Right in clifden town ,good restaurant and bars and spa and sauna and pool and gyms and even beauty salon with friendly staff

We had a fantastic stay at Clifden Station House Hotel. New entrance, bar, restaurant area very stylish and classy. Owners and staff always friendly and welcoming. Rooms stylish & quiet. Had great meal in the Station House bar & loved the seating area on the old railway platform with original brickwork and signs. Breakfast was also amazing with choice of hot plates to order and continental style breakfast bar in a lovely setting. Perfect place for a base to explore stunning landscape. Can’t wait to come back.

A nice hotel with friendly staff and a good restaurant with great food.

Fine for a family stay. Wed awful weather so the pool was a big plus. The cinema plan didn’t quite work out with same movie on repeat. The bar and restaurant on ground floor have been very carefully been renovated: stunning lighting very pleasant place to be. However the bar opposite (station house?) had very bad lighting and could do with some love. Room was basic, our batrlhro had weird accessibility features, a teenchy sink and a powerful tap which meant you sprayed water all over the place. And a fix to wall shower head - ick. I guess they’ll renovate the rooms at some stage they’re dated. Good location five min walk in to clifden which is probably nice when sheet rain isn’t falling. Staff mostly very nice and pleasant which makes the stay.

A real treat. Lovely hotel with great food and friendly atmosphere. Will be back!
