Station House Pub in Clifden

Hotel was as you would expect! Ideal. But the staff were incredible! Genuinely friendly and so helpful!! Will certainly be back! Thank you. The food was great too!

A group of 16 ladies stayed in the Clifden Station House Hotel in a combination of hotel rooms & apartments, to say we had the best time would be selling it short, from the time we arrived we were treated so well, by the time we left we were on first names with all the staff , Martin , Darren & James to mention a few, & the owner also came to our table over dinner to say Hello, we were also blessed with fabulous weather for our weekend trip, We will definitely be back, hopefully in 2025 😊😎🥂☀️

Had a FANTASTIC stay in The Clifden station house hotel last Wednesday with tour group Your hotel is absolutely beautiful, staff really friendly and helpful, rooms are gorgeous an comfortable Dinning was delicious 😋 Totally enjoyed our stay would love to have stayed longer , an the entertainment in the lobby was great craic Will definitely be back Thank you for everything ❤️

Every single member of staff we came in contact with during our stay were just fantastic, everyone was very helpful polite and chatty and just could not have done anything more for us, they are the absolute making of the hotel and we will definitely be back, we would also have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for anyone travelling in this location.

What a treasure this hotel is! Situated in a perfect location near the Clifden square, with access to restaurants and pubs in close proximity. I would've liked to have spent more time here because it felt so cozy and welcoming. We had the BEST night in the lobby listening to Barry Ryan play piano, sing, and take requests from the crowd. Great time and memories!!

Lovely hotel. Live music in evening was great. Nice rooms. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff were very friendly.

Difficult to adjust temperature of shower ... stayed too hot.

Favorite part of our stay was Claire - so welcoming- above and beyond kindness. Thank you. Comfy room. Only downsize was parking- but we ended up just fine. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and pubs- as well as their own.

Stayed in the apartments midweek and got a good deal. The set up of the apartment is very good,very clean but could do with having a handyman/ Maintenance person do a few simple jobs like hang a few of the cabinet doors properly, plane the bottom of the bathroom door so it doesn't stick and tighten the lampshades so they're not wobbling all around ( which I did myself, its such a simple thing any member of staff could do it in 5 seconds per lamp) otherwise very clean and modern with all you could need including milk,juice, bread and coffee etc. to get you started. All in all really good.
