Stella Maris Hotel in Kilkee

Stopped for lunch, great food and service ... Pity it is closing for the winter months.

We got a lovely meal here following a short notice booking during a busy end-July Saturday evening. Service was quick and they also fit in some friends who arrived later. Would highly recommend.

In our last night in Kilkee, we didn't really have a defined dinner plan, and we wandered into the Stella Maris. Though heavily booked, they graciously fit us in, and we are grateful they did so, because it was an amazing meal to cap off what was truly a life-changing trip to County Clare. Everyone at the table had a unique entree and loved it. I went on a limb and got the chicken curry and it was fantastic.

The Stella Maris hosted our wedding not long ago (06/07/24) and it was the most wonderful, magical weekend. No request too big or small, they provided anything we needed, sometimes at last minute, without it being any sort of fuss. In all honesty it felt like we were being looked after by family. Our guests kept complimenting the food and service and it was an absolute delight to hear that feedback, we couldn't be more grateful. I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend this hotel and restaurant, they know exactly what they're doing and completely set you at ease. Whether its dinner, a weekend away by the sea, or a full on wedding like ours, I would recommend them 100%. P.s. to the lovely blonde girl on reception, I haven't stayed in my pj's since, I've been in a bikini on the amalfi coast

Spent two nights at Stella Maris recently and have to say it was a great experience. Staff were super friendly, attentive and hard working . Food was excellent, particularly the breakfast which offered both quality and quantity. Room was clean and well maintained. Only issue was the tv, which was very small. Hotel is located right in the center of town, no problem with street parking. Highly recommended. Rooms
