Stella Maris Hotel in Kilkee

04/03/2025: Went just for a quick grab, and it was absolutely lovely. The food was amazing and atmosphere lovely.

02/03/2025: Called in for Sunday lunch, the specials included “lamb”. We ordered two plates at €25 each. The sheep meat was older than lamb, stringy and tough. No mint sauce available, the server said they’d go to the shop to get more, it would only take a couple of minutes. We had finished our meal and were just leaving when the server returned. The dish itself was tasty enough but no better than a €15 carvery dish, calling it a special was a bit of a misnomer. Pleasant staff but a restaurant that serves poor quality meat and doesn’t even have the usual accompaniments is a disappointment.
