Stonechat in Killarney

Absolutely wonderful little resteraunt! The staff are sound out, the food is beautiful and the venue is relaxed. We had a lovely time. Fine set of singing voices on the staff, the happy birthday went off without a hitch.

Must try. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.

Excellent. Went twice for dinner, which probably says enough. Cod was excellent. Lamb was excellent. Tiramisu was excellent. Only question: canned black olives in a Greek salad?!? Stone Chat, who hurt you? Would still go back. The food wins.

Absolutely wonderful night we found accidentally down a quiet alley in Killarney. Probably our favorite meal in all of Ireland!

Excellent restaurant in Killarney centre (in an alley). The restaurant is quite big, well detailed with Victorian style furniture. Very good food, kind service. They do not have much tap beers, but they have some bottled ones.

We came for our wedding anniversary and they put us in the special love room! The service was phenomenal and the food was exceptional. We agreed this was the best restaurant steak we had ever had with an excellent sear and perfectly cooked to a medium rare on the inside. Everything was perfectly salted which is difficult to do. Hope to come back!

Great food, locally sourced. Great service and located in a cool restaurant. Well worth a visit.

Great traditional Irish cuisine

We booked a table for dinner and were served perfectly. I still recommend booking ahead, as the restaurant (even though it's tucked away in an alley) can get very full. The value for money is excellent. The meal was fantastic from start to finish. I highly recommend the ribeye steak (Irish beef), cooked exactly as I wanted it, and its size impressed me. My partner had the leg of lamb, which was fantastic. We shared the cheesecake of the day, which was an excellent way to end the evening. No complaints whatsoever; the ribeye steak was perfect and speaks volumes about the excellent quality of the food. The staff were equally pleasant and attentive while still giving us plenty of space. We will definitely return on our next trip to Killarney.

Gluten Free/Celiac A MUST!!!! Absolutely stunning, charming, cozy little spot in a side alley. Food is delicious, very well labeled and most not labelled GF can be accomodated to GF. Wishing I was in Killarney longer because would of returned to this place.
