Stonechat in Killarney

They don’t normally do take away but they were willing to make an exception. Highly recommend the Banoffie pie!

This place came locally recommended and did not disappoint. We had the seafood chowder and the steak and both were top notch. Nearly the entire menu is gluten free and locally sourced.

Unbleviable three course dinner! My partner and I came here for the first time after completing Quest. The service was impeccable. Great attention to detail, warm and friendly staff, with beautiful dishes! Would highly recommend the following dishes: bruscetta, prawns (starters), steak, seabass (mains) and cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake (desserts). My goodness, each dish was just incredible. I would highly recommend Stonechat. Thank you to the staff Maia, Suzzannah, Lauren, Catriona, and Carolina. You were all so professional and warm with your welcome. I had even asked for extra mash potatoes with my seabass, and without hesitation, it was accommodated. Sincere thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!

Wonderful food, decor, and experience. The gluten free menue was amazing and so helpful. Will be back!

Nos topamos con el Stonechat (una pequeña calle lateral de la calle principal) una noche y nos detuvimos a tomar una copa fuera (amaretto aurs eran increíbles). El menú y el interior parecía interesante, así que reservamos para la noche siguiente (necesario en el verano cuando killarney ciudad está ocupado). El interior está compuesto por pequeñas cabinas, por lo que se sintió muy acogedor y aislado. Había una buena elección en el menú de carne, pescado y vegetariano (pero no una lista abrumadora, lo que siempre me hace sospechar). El servicio fue perfecto, el nivel de atención correcto. No he dejado de recomendarlo desde que lo visitamos. Lamento que no vivamos más cerca de visitarnos de nuevo

Afortunado de obtener una reserva de sábado, pero bienvenido cálidamente. Gran zumbido, buenas canciones de fondo. Tardó un tiempo en entregar la comida, pero el restaurante estaba saltando. Alitas picantes de súper calidad compartidas. Tuve un buen Chardonnay. Pedí filete medio raro con base de cebolla/champiñón con guarnición de puré de patatas por el que creo que Roger es famoso! Le pondría una placa Michelin solo en eso. Ella tenía una sartén hermosamente crujiente y caliente - lubina frita con lados claros. Sublime. Contra todas las reglas compartimos un Tiramusu, que buscamos en Google para significar “una pick up”. Estaba delicioso con una humedad perfecta y un buen hielo de vainilla para acompañar. El servicio era encantador, cálido y amable. Particularmente Caithriona y stand - en barman Karim. Conozco al chef Roger toda mi vida. Puede haber prejuicios, pero si quieres comida saludable, a precios competitivos en un entorno muy informal, entonces echa un vistazo a Stonechat de High Street, Killarney. Me alegra decir que nunca comí mal aquí.

One of the best stops we had on our road trip. On our stroll through Killarney we found this place by chance. We were really lucky! The food was amazing! Especially the sticky toffee pudding for dessert was sooo delicious. Highly recommend!

Having dinner at Stonechat was a happy accident! Went to see what was down the alley and found this great place! Food was great and the staff was fun and really attentive - found us a table without a reservation. The inside is full-on Irish, which made it such a wonderful dining experience!

We were in this great restaurant at the beginning of September. Even though we hadn't reserved a table, we were offered a great place. The service team was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food, whether vegetarian or fish, was excellent. Would come back immediately. Kind regards from Austria. Hans Peter
