Great place with lovely food and fantastic staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. A special mention for the Full Irish Breakfast with white pudding — best white pudding I have had. Absolutely lovely and a must-try! Would definitely recommend

Sadly, the food was maybe barely at a pub grub level. After reading the reviews I was expecting real fish cakes and my partner was expecting additional salad to replace the fries on the calamari dish. Not only was his salad smaller but they only took 3 euros off for not including fries. Both dishes look like a starter sized meal.

The best Restaurant we were evern fed in, it was so relaxed and the girls were so courteous and lovely, great value for money, we were like a water pipe after a downpour ,,,,bursting

We came here for breakfast on the recommendation of a local friend, and he was spot on. A huge selection and very reasonable prices, and very tasty food. The staff were lovely too.

I was in sugrues multiple times last week and during my trip to west cork, it is a lovely small little restaurant. The food is gorgeous, and the staff are brilliant. All the fish and meat are fresh from the local fisheries and butchers. Highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you are in castletownbere.

A great selection of cakes, which were constantly replenished while we were there. Friendly staff, good coffee – what more could you want? :-)
Walked into Sugrues and the whole place erupted into applause 👏. Don't be disappointed if this isn't the case for you, but if you've just ran the Beara Way Ultra you'd deserve it.
The Full Irish and cinnamon French toast 😋😋(yummy) and a pot of tea with big cups.
The Breakfast menu is great (best I've ever seen) it has something for everyone.
Got a Coffee to takeaway also very good.

Fabulous! Excellent service, yummy food and very dog friendly. I couldn't decide what to have, so the lovely lady made up a dish just for me! My dog was made so welcome, they gave him a sausage (checked with me first 👍). Calm, welcoming atmosphere, fresh fish, definitely worth a visit 😃
