We and our dog were warmly welcomed, and the food was delicious. We've been here several times, as dogs aren't allowed in the area. We were delighted with the lovely cake buffet and the food.

The best fish and chips I have had for a very long time. Very friendly staff. Quick and efficient service even though they were extremely busy. I have no hesitation to recommend Sugrues on the Square.

Absolutely incredible value with an amazing choice, catering for the fish lovers, the meat lovers and a really good vegetarian option. There was a ridiculous amount of choice for deserts and I had the roulade which was honestly out if this world. Also there's a partnership going with the pub next door so you can get a pint with your meal also. Incredible value, and fab services. Can't recommend enough 🙏❤️

Lynch's on the Pier

19/04/2026: We had the room with sea view. There is a charger for EV nearby and plenty of parking in front which is part of the port. The place is perfect for us. Since we checked in on Saturday afternoon and their restaurant is closed on Sundays, they provided us some scones with butter and jam upon arrival. There were cookies too. The room was spacious, warm, and clean. Just note that you might hear the neighbouring room. Smooth stay and right at the heart of the town.
26/02/2026: was great we booked on the road on the fly, rather than booking.com, lady was nice and rather than booking via the website we went straight through the business itself as we saved 10 euro and breakfast was includedbefore 125 off peak one night deluxe room I think it was.. we were happy and stayed there but in the morning we were told breakfast wasn't included was room only that was the only thing came back on us but staff are all lovely and food was great!
