Supermac's in Athlone

Really good takeaway. Usual supermacs offering. Deli counter also- often a better option than supermacs. No seating is only down side

Food is as would expect from Supermac’sstaff are kind and courteous. It’s an awful pity that Google Maps did not outline - this is just the petrol station with supermac’s food counter. There is nowhere for my son (Bluebadge holder) or myself to sit down .. Was on the road from Galway back to Dublin. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a country guy at heart that’s why I chose S’Mc’s well used to eating in the car but it would’ve been nice to have been notified. Had we got seats and had access to toilet facilities to break the journey … So please post on Supermac’s website that there is no seats at this place and on Google Maps Please. Thanks

Grand spot, no drive thru. Generous portions in Supermac's makes the price for their food worth it compared to the plazas etc that are scroungey. Deadly ice cream & milkshakes, staff all friendly. Decent selection for groceries which are reasonably priced for a petrol station. Carpark seems to be a meetspot for car lurkers but no shenanigans. Well worth the slight diversion to break up a long drive.
