Always top notch food and great craic in the Swag.. if you haven't been you're missing out.. had kangaroo skewers recently 🔥 beautiful..

We loved the atmosphere here and the beer was great. We had nachos and being from America was expecting chips and cheese. We got nacho cheese Dorito's with mozzarella cheese. A bit odd and not tasty to me. However, a table mate had the same and loved them. It's worth going in to at least for a drink. Check them out.

Great menu for food and drinks. Get the hot wings

Great Irish pub run by an Aussie. Fish and chips was very solid. Tartar sauce was not made in house (packaged) which is a minus for me. Chips were only OK but fish was spot on. Service a bit slow but it was busy. Peanut butter stand was nice and sweet and gooey decadence.

A great all-day 'Big Brekkie' and some great characters

My wife and I recently visited The Swagman after a family recommendation, and boy was it a good recommendation! The bar has a great atmosphere. Very traditionally Irish but with some other twists.(I believe the owner is Australian) there is a great food menu with some Classics but also some more unique dishes. I had The Chicken Parm whilst my wife had the Peppercorn Chicken. Both meals were fantastic! The Swagman is a great place for anyone visiting Sligo as it’s something different, but has the atmosphere of a traditional Irish Pub.

Have been here a few times when we visit Sligo, Always great food, Staff very friendly and the owner Dale is welcoming and chats to everyone, we got pepper sauce over chicken with mash, Absolutely 💯 👌
