Swagman in Sligo

Great people, great food, and great beer 🍺

The best bar/restaurant pub in Sligo. They are welcoming and warming, and its just a great vibe to even just go spend an hour or 2 to just relax and get latte, maybe peanut butter stack and enjoy. Food there is amazing and very feeling.

Lovely bar in the centre of Sligo. We were too late for food, however the staff were really friendly and advised us of multiple local places we could go to get food. The guinness was outstanding, and we will definitely return when back in Sligo. Thank you for being so friendly and helpful!!!

Live music, nice atmosphere, good service, and steak kangaroo in menu. If you want to try kangaroo steak, drink fresh beer, and feel the atmosphere of old pubs, then Swagman is your place.

Amazing selection of whiskies, knowledgeable staff, and great atmosphere.

Dropped in for lunch, good service and good food. Reasonable selection on the menu. The chowder was really good and a good sized portion.

Beim letzten Besuch in Sligo war dieses einer meiner Lieblings-Pubs. Er ist immer noch urig, immer noch eine super Whiskey-Auswahl, immer noch tolles Bier (und auch von The White Hag extra für The Swagman gebrautes Bier). Aber der Service war unterirdisch, es war nicht viel los (es war gleichzeitig das Sligo Summer Festival) und genug Bedienungen da. Jedoch hilft das nichts, wenn diese unaufmerksam sind. Ewig auf die Speisekarte gewartet, ewig auf das Bestellen gewartet, ewig auf das Bier gewartet, ewig auf den Service danach gewartet. Da kann der Pub noch so gemütlich und urig sein, so hat es uns keinen Spaß gemacht.
