Tannery in Dungarvan

had a lovely stay in the townhouse 🏠 which is located right next to the water! the dinner was fabulous - for mains, we ordered the ribeye steak (& mash) and grilled seafood which was delicious, and the chocolate mousse was amazing too! the service was great, the staff were very professional and welcoming.

Excellent service at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. All ingredients were really fresh and high quality. The slow cooked beef was delicious. Location is central and convenient for shops etc. We were lucky to get a car parking space for free in small car park opposite the restaurant. Accommodation in the townhouse is only 2 mins walk away. Compact and spotlessly clean. Perfect for a short stay. Would highly recommend for a special treat.

Came for the food, stayed for the service. Absolutely great stay. Even though weather was not great. Nothing they could do about that. We definitely stay again.

The Tannery restaurant and townhouse - where we had dinner and stayed for a night - fell below our expectations, as we were attracted by the venue's long established strong reputation. For dinner, our starters - cod brandade and crab brulee - were quite disappointing, with not much cod or crab apparent! Mains were better (halibut and ribeye steak) although both attracted supplements of €8 and €10 respectively over our dinner package. My wife sent back her chocolate mousse dessert which resembled melted chocolate. All in all a bit of a let down for €160 excluding wine.

We stayed in The Tannery for 2 nights in March and I have to say it was absolutely lovely. The staff are just fantastic, the room was newly refurbished which was beautifully done and the breakfast was just amazing. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and were shown to our room, which I have to say not a lot of small hotels do this! I would absolutely highly recommend this hotel / restaurant for any future bookings - one of which I will be doing. Fantastic!!!!!!

We had a delicious meal! The staff were exceptional, friendly and professional! The goats cheese ravioli, hake and mash was delicious! Choux bun tasted a bit off but everything else was great and I’d definitely return!

Omg..... If I could, I would give ten stars! Staff are super friendly, food was delicious, especially the mash potatoes and "Kelly's oysters". Rooms are so cosy and newly decoration. Fantastic place to visit.
