Fabulous 2 days - lovely comfortable lodging- superb fresh breakfast. The dinner was wonderful and delicious- very fresh ingredients all round and lovely presentation, highly recommend the oysters, wild game terrine and the mixed seafood grill. The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and full of wonderful art to enjoy. Thank you Tannery- we will be back!

Amazing place for dinner. I had a small problem with the main dish... But they solved it without any drama, I loved the service. I will be back :)

Dinner only. Dissapointingly conventional menu in a welcoming setting with enthusiastic if inexoerienced service. I expected more given its reputation and pricing though the local oysters with Vietnamese dressing were to die for.

The starters were 5 star Mains 2 and 5 stars Waiting staff 5 stars Manager 0 stars for his dismissive attitude and feeble excuse for having no 0% beer in stock. There is a pub yards away tbat has large stocks of 0% beer.

Great menu, I had plenty of choice, which sometimes doesn't happen for my tastes, would make me want to book again to sample the other choices.

The food is lovely and the staff very nice. However on the whole it is over priced and has grown complacent on the brand strength. Nescafe sachets and single use plastic toiletries that are made in China. Sound proofing in room is worse than a cheap motel..while they did move out room when we told them we now knew the names of the people next door, np effort was made to address the inconvenience. Dinner was good, but relative to the excellent value we have had elsewhere in Waterford was very over priced

17/11/2024: Ate here today for the first time and would definitely recommend! The breakfast stack is delicious!
13/11/2024: I visited this restaurant three times in the past week, having the same meal each time. First was in the afternoon at 2:30pm on Wednesday, food was fine, not much taste but cooked properly. Latte was lovely, I had two of those. Second time was the next day, Thursday, 1:30pm. The food on this day was lovely, flavorsome and cooked really well. Again a lovely latte. Third time was yesterday morning at 9:45am. The food, Eggs Avo was not nice at all. It was bland. The mushroom was cold. The latte was lovely. Great consistency with the coffee. However I have been sick since I came home after that meal. Stomach upset and other unpleasant effects. I am still sick this morning. My husband also feels unwell after his Big Sister fry up. It's such a shame that the food quality and preparation are not consistent as the service here is very good. Unfortunately we will not be returning here
