Taphouse in Dublin

Went primarily for food and was very disappointed. Ordered three small plates and fry’s. To start, the crayfish tostadas were nice, fresh and zingy. The other two, fish tacos and calamari were over seasoned and tasted the same but with different texture. The fry’s were soggy so sent back but we had finished the food when the fresh ones arrived and we didn’t eat them, still got charged though. Will not go back. Staff were very good though.

I don’t usually give reviews but the TapHouse deserves to be recognised. The staff at the Taphouse in Ranelagh are some of the nicest and most accommodating I’ve come across. It’s rare to find a place where the team are consistently so friendly and genuinely helpful. They always go out of their way to make sure everything is right and that you’re well looked after. They’re welcoming, attentive, and always happy to cater to whatever you need. It makes every visit feel easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend with great food and drinks too!

Pretty nice place to have a drink and have a chat or even date. However if you are in the last bar seats, pretty difficult to get served. That's the only "bad" point. A bit more awareness. Everything great overall.

We had our engagement party in the Taphouse this weekend and I cannot say enough about the staff…they were so attentive, service was 10/10. Thanks to Darragh and team for everything 😀Food platters we’re also amazing. We’ll definitely be back for our next party!

I recently hosed my very 1st event at Taphouse. I was quite nervous as this was my first one and obviously wanted everything to go ok. I can't express how amazing the staff were in helping me organise, they were so efficient on email as there was lots of back and forth on my end, the staff aiding me in hosting was absolutely superb ( I think he name was Josh) please forgive me if thats incorrect. He was so helpful, coordinated with me on times of food, drinks even down to the playlist in the background. The food was 10/10, people were texting me the next day telling me how happy they were with the food and it was so delicious. The venue itself is very easy to find, the decor is stunning, the vibe is perfect. Overall, 10/10 experience and I would definitely host an event there again. Amazing!!!!

We hosted our engagement party in the Taphouse. Throughout the entire process the staff both behind the scenes and staff on the night went above and beyond to make our engagement party an unbelievable success. I lost count of how of how many people said on the night how great the venue was and how fabulous all the staff were! They were so helpful with organising food, helping to set up- including untangling balloons- and arranging drinks for everyone. The staff really went above and beyond and facilitated everything we asked for! We had welcome drinks that the bar tenders had displayed for people access on arrival and also a table where we could display our cake. The Karaoke booth was also a huge success with everyone!

Of all the pubs I've been to in Ireland, this was one of the best in terms of atmosphere and options. We had a group of about 7, but like with most other pubs it was harder for everyone to talk and be heard by each other. The pricing was surprisingly great, considering the location. The small plates that we all got were a bit smaller than we expected, but the food was great either way.

Great drinks and atmosphere. The staff is amazing, definitely a must visit place for casual drinks or dinning.

For the second year running we have had a work Christmas party in the Taphouse. Once again, it was a wonderful experience. Daragh was very helpful in sorting us out and answering any questions we had and the staff looking after us on the night were also fantastic. The food was, again, delicious and the atmosphere is always festive and warm. The karaoke was a big hit with all present. Thanks to all the staff at Taphouse for a wonderful evening. Already thinking about booking next year's Christmas party there.
