Taphouse in Dublin

Had lunch here on the terrace on a very sunny day. They have a lunch special which is 3 dishes for €30. We got his which was loaded chicken tenders, fish tacos and steak sandwich. The chicken was absolutely delicious and the other dishes were lovely also. Had a bottle of Bulmers so can't comment on the Guinness. Service was impeccable. One of the best beer gardens in Ranelagh.

Wonderful young staff who make you feel welcome and give you plenty of time to order but don't leave you hanging. Food is good, the service is even better.

One of my favourite pub in Dublin, with nice deco, lots of choice in terms of beers, karaoke room and of course the lovely terrace.

Thank you to the wonderful staff that work here who are consistently lovely. Every time I go, they are always smiling and helpful. The food is great, the atmosphere and decor is really relaxing, tasteful and welcoming and I thoroughly recommend ordering the chicken wings.

Such an incredible venue and the team are amazing! Karen is a superstar. Every detail for our event was impeccable, I can't recommend highly enough. Food is also amazing!

Highly recommend the Tap House! We had a lovely evening there - service was outstanding, especially from Karen & the team. Small plates were fresh & tasty, would love to see a DJ downstairs also for more atmosphere later in the eve!

Had been wanting to try Taphouse for a long time and was sad to find it disappointing. The food was delicious but the service and atmosphere were not great. We were seated out on the rooftop terrace which was lovely but it was extremely busy and the tables were all crammed in very close so it meant it was quite claustrophobic and loud. The service was the real problem though. They were clearly understaffed but considering it was the night of the Europa League final, it was poor planning not having more staff on duty because it was clearly going to be a busy night. For most of the time we were there, there was only one server seeming to be working the whole terrace (a second one joined a while later) and our table was completely overlooked for most of the night. Trying to get anyone's attention was a challenge and we had to ask for water 6 times before getting some. We also asked for salt 5 times and still didn't get any...we gave up in the end because our fries were just getting cold at stage so there was no point in waiting. We left as soon as we were finished our food because the service was so off-putting. It's a lovely pub and it's a real shame the experience was disappointing.
