Of all the pubs I've been to in Ireland, this was one of the best in terms of atmosphere and options. We had a group of about 7, but like with most other pubs it was harder for everyone to talk and be heard by each other. The pricing was surprisingly great, considering the location. The small plates that we all got were a bit smaller than we expected, but the food was great either way.

For the second year running we have had a work Christmas party in the Taphouse. Once again, it was a wonderful experience. Daragh was very helpful in sorting us out and answering any questions we had and the staff looking after us on the night were also fantastic. The food was, again, delicious and the atmosphere is always festive and warm. The karaoke was a big hit with all present. Thanks to all the staff at Taphouse for a wonderful evening. Already thinking about booking next year's Christmas party there.

Great atmosphere and a really impressive beer selection. The place has a lovely vibe and is always busy, which adds to its charm. However, service here is definitely an area for improvement. On several visits, the wait times were long and special requests were overlooked. While the staff are always friendly, the overall speed and attention to detail seem to lag behind some other busy pubs in Dublin. It’s worth a visit for the vibes and drinks, but patience is a must if you have specific requests or are in a hurry.

The Taphouse hosted my 30th birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better night. The food and service met every expectation and then some. The staff made planning my party seamless and stress free from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. I cannot commend the staff enough for making my night unforgettable.

03/12/2025: It's a great place to soak up Irish culture in central Dublin. I had the Beef and Guinness Stew. The meat and vegetables were cooked well and the flavor was excellent. It also tasted like a home-cooked meal. The addition of Smirnoff Ice is a huge bonus ♥️ It was a real treat after a cold Dublin day. With its pub atmosphere, it might be one of the best Irish pubs around.

14/10/2025: Stayed here for one night, our room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The girl on reception was very polite and friendly she checked us in and out, very knowledgeable of the area. Room was warm and great powerful shower for a second floor room. The location was quite tricking to find google maps didn’t take us directly there. Stayed here to get the ferry the next day was a 30 min drive so was convenient for us. There’s a great under ground car park that leads directly in to the hotel. Overall a great stay and would return if in the area.
