Taphouse in Dublin

Highly recommend the Tap House! We had a lovely evening there - service was outstanding, especially from Karen & the team. Small plates were fresh & tasty, would love to see a DJ downstairs also for more atmosphere later in the eve!

Had been wanting to try Taphouse for a long time and was sad to find it disappointing. The food was delicious but the service and atmosphere were not great. We were seated out on the rooftop terrace which was lovely but it was extremely busy and the tables were all crammed in very close so it meant it was quite claustrophobic and loud. The service was the real problem though. They were clearly understaffed but considering it was the night of the Europa League final, it was poor planning not having more staff on duty because it was clearly going to be a busy night. For most of the time we were there, there was only one server seeming to be working the whole terrace (a second one joined a while later) and our table was completely overlooked for most of the night. Trying to get anyone's attention was a challenge and we had to ask for water 6 times before getting some. We also asked for salt 5 times and still didn't get any...we gave up in the end because our fries were just getting cold at stage so there was no point in waiting. We left as soon as we were finished our food because the service was so off-putting. It's a lovely pub and it's a real shame the experience was disappointing.

Really 5 stars all around. We had a small birthday party in the glass room and the food was unreal, atmosphere was great and the staff very nice. Eimear in particular looked after us for the night and was really great in helping me out with the cake and making sure we had everything we need.

When I visited here last week the atmosphere was a bit flat and some tables to eat from quite grubby. It may have been an off day but not the greatest spot to eat at....a very..... very noisy group of football fans were also an unpleasant side effect as I felt they were way above acceptable cheering. I couldn't hear my friend talk...

The food here was incredibly good! Bought three dishes for €30, and all the dishes were delicious. I also think the people who work here are incredibly nice! another plus was that they played premier league AWAY! Recommend mushroom taco and crab tacito(?).

We had an amazing experience at Tap House! My sister-in-law came all the way from Portugal to celebrate her birthday, and it couldn’t have been more special. Karen took such great care of us – she was incredibly kind and helpful, managing to find us a spot and making sure everything was perfect. The burger was absolutely delicious, and the chicken wings were hands down the best we’ve ever had! To top it all off, they have an extensive selection of beers served at the perfect temperature. Highly recommend this place – we’ll definitely be back!

Excelente y muy atento personal. La comida era increíble. Sí, el menú ha cambiado desde nuestra última visita, hace aproximadamente un año, y siendo sinceros, cuando salieron los platos, no eran lo que esperábamos, pero estaban deliciosos, muy bien cocinados y con sabor. Tenía el hombro de Cordero, así que en mi cabeza esperaba algo de un plato carvery, pero era cualquier cosa menos. Sin embargo, era delicioso y lleno. Mi esposa tenía las pechugas de pollo coreanas, con todas las salsas a un lado y funcionó muy bien. El pollo estaba increíblemente fresco y sabroso, y ella consumió casi todas las salsas. Nuestro hijo de 7 años, siendo un niño de 7 años ad un plato de patatas fritas con un lado de ketchup. Ha estado hablando de las patatas fritas todo el día. Patatas fritas apropiadas, absolutamente delicioso. Recomiendo 100% y volveremos más pronto esta vez.
