Taste of Italy is an absolute gem in Arklow! We loved it so much that we came back the very next day because we couldn't stop thinking about the food. The pasta was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic Italian flavour. You can truly tell it's made with passion and high-quality ingredients. The tiramisu deserves its own mention. I've had tiramisu at countless restaurants over the years, and this was hands down the best I've ever tasted. It was light, creamy, beautifully balanced, and simply unforgettable. On top of the amazing food, the owners, Marta and Marco, were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It's rare to find a place that delivers both exceptional food and such genuine hospitality. If you're anywhere near Arklow, do yourself a favour and visit Taste of Italy. It's one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to, and I'll absolutely be returning every time I'm back in Ireland!

Loved it so much yesterday that we came back again today! Fresh ravioli and pasta, great coffee, and lovely service from Martha and Marco. Everything is made fresh each morning and tastes genuinely authentic. The herb bread is perfect for soaking up the sauces, and the tiramisu is delicious without being overly sweet. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tasty of Italy in Arklow is without a doubt one of the best places where I've experienced authentic Italian cuisine outside of Italy. As an Italian, I can honestly say that this restaurant brings the true flavours of home to Ireland. What makes it stand out is that the menu changes daily based on the fresh ingredients arriving from Italy. Instead of the usual fixed menu you find in many Italian restaurants, every visit offers something different, seasonal, and genuinely authentic. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion behind every dish. The service is exceptional. Marco and Marco have created much more than a restaurant—they have created a little corner of Italy just south of Dublin. From the warm welcome to the attention to every detail, they make every guest feel at home. If you appreciate real Italian food made with fresh ingredients and served with genuine hospitality, this is a place you shouldn't miss. I will definitely be returning to discover more of their daily specials and enjoy another fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!

Hard to believe we have such a delicious Italian restaurant right here in Arklow.. but it's REAL!! The best Italian food that I would rate alongside the best food I've had in Italy.. today we had Ravioli with mozzarella & delicious tomato sauce and a caprese salad (best ever!) followed by the best blueberry lemon cake ever & a cute Italian bun I can't remember the name of! Alongside the best service.. I'm so grateful we have this gem in Arklow, with seats out by the river too 💜 Xxx Ps- the laughing ducks provide a lil extra entertainment if you're lucky!

I’ve lived in Ireland for 13 years, and after trying countless Italian spots, this is the first one that truly feels like authentic Italy. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the lovely owners, Marta and Marco, who make you feel like part of the family. The warm, welcoming atmosphere turns a simple lunch or dinner into a real Italian experience, it’s like discovering a little oasis of Italy right here. The food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and made the same day, especially the pasta, which has that perfect homemade taste. Even the desserts are prepared fresh daily. The quality is evident in every bite, this is proper Italian cooking done with care and passion. If you’re looking for genuine Italian food and a heartfelt welcome, this is the place.
