Taste of Italy in Arklow

Delicious food, great service and a lovely ambiance! I felt like i was on holidays. Would highly recommend.

Hard to believe we have such a delicious Italian restaurant right here in Arklow.. but it's REAL!! The best Italian food that I would rate alongside the best food I've had in Italy.. today we had Ravioli with mozzarella & delicious tomato sauce and a caprese salad (best ever!) followed by the best blueberry lemon cake ever & a cute Italian bun I can't remember the name of! Alongside the best service.. I'm so grateful we have this gem in Arklow, with seats out by the river too 💜 Xxx Ps- the laughing ducks provide a lil extra entertainment if you're lucky!

I’ve lived in Ireland for 13 years, and after trying countless Italian spots, this is the first one that truly feels like authentic Italy. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the lovely owners, Marta and Marco, who make you feel like part of the family. The warm, welcoming atmosphere turns a simple lunch or dinner into a real Italian experience, it’s like discovering a little oasis of Italy right here. The food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and made the same day, especially the pasta, which has that perfect homemade taste. Even the desserts are prepared fresh daily. The quality is evident in every bite, this is proper Italian cooking done with care and passion. If you’re looking for genuine Italian food and a heartfelt welcome, this is the place. I highly recommend it to everyone and I will definitely be going back. Great job, Marta and Marco! keep it up! 🇮🇹

This is a fantastic place, on arrival the owners make you feel so welcome, the menu is on a chalkboard as everything is made fresh every day so can vary daily so a return visit is a must. It is situated on the river and has outside seating with a lovely view. Definitely worth stopping for, if just for a coffee or the full gastronomic experience.

Fresh and homemade pasta served. Absolutley delicious. One of the best tasting pasta dishes I have ever tasted. Rich with sauce, cheese and meat. The owners and staff are very welcoming and nice. The restaurant is small but intimate and feels warm.

Lovely Italian café and absolutely wonderful experience. The food is simple, yet incredibly flavorful — it truly surprised me with how delicious everything was. They offer homemade focaccia that taste fresh and authentic, along with fresh salads and absolutely delightful desserts. Every dish feels carefully prepared with attention to quality and taste. Definitely recommend, food and staff were amazing and every plate was delicious

I mean its really hard to say anything negative about this place. Me and my mrs have been wanting to go here for a while now and recently we finally found some time. The food here is fantastic there is about 6 things on the menu which only tell you how fresh everything is. All the food was cooked to order so the wait time for someone who isn't accustomed might be a bit longer but its no longer that 15 to 20 minutes tops. The taste is just fantastic. When it comes to the restaurant itself it feels like you are in italy especially when Ireland gets some rare sun it feels fantastic I recommend this place to everyone.
