Terra Madre in Dublin

For me personally a hidden local perl with amazing authentic Italian food and great service! Was a bit cold, and rough interior but fitting the experience and the food quality compensates everything the location might not provides.

Food was incredible, really small menu but everything was perfect. We were the first ones in there on a Monday, 2 adults a toddler and a baby. They made my young daughter pasta with butter and cheese, whilst me and my husband had a gorgeous dinner and a bottle of wine. It’s not set up for children being a small place but they made us feel incredibly welcome and the food was very worth it. An absolute must visit in Dublin for me. 10/10

One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had and super friendly staff! Tiny and cozy, I can imagine it gets full very fast so maybe call and reserve a spot beforehand. 11/10

Amazing authentic Italian place, just a few meters away from temple bar! The service is impecable and it has a cozy italian vibe. Everything is imported from Italy. Great food & and great wine. We had a bottle of wine and a couple of pasta dishes and we loved it!!

Perfect spot for a cozy, intimate dinner date. Terra Madre is small and charming, with close seating and a simple menu that focuses on quality rather than quantity. The food is authentic Italian, and the service is warm and very Italian, with one waiter running the room and taking great care of guests. We had the meat board, ravioli, gnocchi, and tiramisu and everything was really delicious and comforting.

The restaurant itself is small with maybe 6-8 tables, thus creates an intimate atmosphere. The food was delicious. Me and 3 other friends came here and ordered different mains , and they were all good. I had the beef stew which was really good. We each all had Tiramisu for dessert and ordered one panacotta for sharing and that was so satisfying too. The waitstaff was a one-man team and he did an excellent customer service during our visit. The only non-alcoholic drinks they have was water (no sodas/ fizzy drink etc). They have good selection of wines but we were all driving the night we came so we just had water, but this didn't marr our experience of enjoying the food. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant.
