The best restaurant around. Delicious food, brilliant service, lovely atmosphere. Beautiful views of Quin Abbey across the road as well 10/10

The Abbey Tavern is a pub located in front of Quin Abbey, in the homonymous town, in Western Ireland. It is a typical town, where you can drink a pint of Irish beer and eat something. It has the typical pub decoration and it is nice to watch the TV or speak with your friends.

We were recommended this place by friends. Visited twice in the 3 days we were in Ireland. Squeezed us in on a Friday evening without a booking (would recommend to book) food was great and service is fantastic. Will be visiting again when next back in the area. Worth visiting for sure!

The Abbey Tavern is my local bistro and bar, my wife and I dine here most Friday evenings, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the bar and bistro is very clean and cozy, if you are thinking of dining here I would recommend looking at the specials board before it's removed at 7pm. there is often a very nice fish dish on it,
The quality of food is excellent and it is plane to see that the chef loves his work,

Wife and I staying in a cottage in Tulla. About 4 miles away. With no car, we took an Uber to Quin. Quin Abbey is seen for miles. The Abbey Tavern is across the street. The staff is extremely welcoming. We had the seafood chowder (OMG! Incredibly delicious), and roast beef with mash. We ordered too much and took the rest back with us for a 2nd meal. The Abbey has so much charm. Great food, cold beer, great location, wonderful staff. Indoor and outdoor dining available. High recommended.
