The Abbey Tavern in Quin

We stopped in for lunch after walking through the Abby ruins across the street. Excellent food and service.

They fit us in on short notice, no notice actually. Usually its by booking. So book in advance so they can accommodate you. The food was immaculate and so tasty and fresh. There was something for everyone and the service was top notch so quick hardly any wait time at all. Highly Highly recommend

Lovely restaurant and bar with great friendly atmosphere. We went tonight and had a great meal and drinks. Staff were very conscious of my nut allergy. Food was really good as was service. Would recommend

The Abbey Tavern is my local bistro and bar, my wife and I dine here most Friday evenings, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the bar and bistro is very clean and cozy, if you are thinking of dining here I would recommend looking at the specials board before it's removed at 7pm. there is often a very nice fish dish on it, The quality of food is excellent and it is plane to see that the chef loves his work,

On an road trip to Quin Friary which was closed by the time we arrived but we still managed to have a look around and take in some of the history of the ancient structure which was visited by many people in its time. We managed to venture around the site and look at the graveyards and we also went to have a bite to eat at the bar and bistro which was lovely by all means, we order some soup, coffee, and onion rings which was super nice and friendly staff and good atmosphere. Edit: second time to come here, really lovely food, location and great service, and very affordable price for BLT, soup, onion rings and fries.

Lovely evening meal for 14 ladies. Food was great,Mark and staff were very attentive and it was a very enjoyable meal.

They serve really good food with great service. Best to call in advance and reserve a table. They offer specials in addition to their menu. Great kids menu. Reasonably priced. The mussels were a special and were one of the best I ever tasted. The seafood chowder with is dill cream base is so tasty. We are there several times.

Went here as a family with 2 kids. The atmosphere was busy and easy going. The server was wonderful with kids, didn't get her name but she was excellent. The food was very good quality. I'd recommend and return.

Have been here a few times, and it has never disappointed. The food quality is excellent, and the service is always great. All the staff are lovely and make an effort to chat with the customers. The fillet steak is 10/10, and definitely get the onion rings with it! This place is a must for anyone visiting Clare!
