Great place that we discovered by chance with friends after school! The atmosphere was very enjoyable and live music was what I expected to find when coming to Ireland. A must come! I will definitely go again.

Lovely traditional pub in Cork City. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Great for a quiet drink. Pizzas can be ordered from Boxt pizza just up the street and eaten in the Abbey Tavern. Definitely worth a visit

Great Pub. Loads of nooks and crannies. Good mix of music. Pleasant staff. You can order pizza from the nearby pizza shop and eat in the bar.

21/02/2025: I very much hope this pub isn't sold and changed into something else as reports last year suggested. A wonderful roadside pub with a truly comfortable interior and welcoming environment you can spend a lot of time in. Well worth the short bus out from central Cork even considering the wealth of options in the centre. Not many pubs on the fringes of town are like this anymore. Please keep it going!
