The Anglers Bar & Restaurant in Cork

Great place. We just dropped in at 17:30 without a reservation and enjoyed a lovely meal.

Great food and a lovely setting. Took awhile for the food to come to the table but it was very busy at the time.

While the staff were friendly & efficient, unfortunately the food lets this establishment down. Curry was cold & fish & chips lukewarm. I couldn't eat my dessert as the oats on the fruit crumble were completely overbaked to the extent that I was afraid they would break my teeth. Must do better. There is a nice atmosphere here.

Food is really good and the place is immaculate. Great place for a family gathering.

Oh, I had such a great time at a company BBQ dinner! The location was so beautiful, surrounded by nature - it was just perfect. The atmosphere was amazing, and I had a blast being there. I would recommend this place for sure.

Went to The Angler's for a party and I hadn't been there in years. My first impression was, it's looking great, it's clean and modern, and there was a great buzz about the place. We were situated in the marque area to the right of the bar. There was a soccer match on and there was an enormous TV projection screen in the open area. Honestly, if you were into soccer, I couldn't think of a better place to look at the game, overlooking the water and the sun shining with a pint in your hand. The food was good, the service was friendly and the staff attended to the party's needs well. I had a freshly cooked pizza out of a wood fire pizza oven and it was top class! I passed through the main bar and it looked really inviting, candles, snugs, and a warm atmosphere. The only one niggle I had was that the car park is in the other side of an incredibly busy and fast stretch of road, so if you are going there with kids, do be very careful going to and coming from the bar!
