The Anglers Bar & Restaurant in Cork

Will definitely be back. A large group of us, service was excellent and food was great.

We went to have a snack. We shared a large dish of mussels and a pizza which were superb. We then shared the salmón dish on rice - also superb. The water provided was also excellent. Staff were patient and pleasant. The only Black Mark was the appalling state of the Gents loo.....

We just had our wedding here on the 30th and the venue, the food and the staff was genuinely what everyone spoke about! We couldn't have chosen a better place to have our wedding. All the staff are genuinely fantastic but Niamh really deserves a shout out shes absolutely phenomenal anyone who is organising an event in the Anglers (which I highly recommend you do) you won't have to worry of think of anything Niamh thinks of EVERYTHING and she will guide you through 💜 Every trip to the Anglers has always been phenomenal though, whether we passed in for a drink or dinner. Very family friendly. All family events will be here in future we're going to be part of the furniture 🤣

Walk in on a Sunday. Sat in upstairs lounge with view over the terrace to the river. Food is good portions and good value

Open prawn sandwich was very disappointing... imported rubber prawns with tartar sauce (not Marie rose sauce) on brown bread. Left half of it behind. Friend had roast chicken which came with veg and half a potato field...had to ask for more veg for which we were charged. Wouldn't run back there tbh

Attended a wedding here a few days ago. Our experience from the beginning to the end was outstanding. Staff were exceptionally attentive. Food was delicious and a lovely atmosphere.

Great place. We just dropped in at 17:30 without a reservation and enjoyed a lovely meal.

Amazing service, extremely fast and accommodating, we came in the middle of lunch rush on a Saturday and were seated immediately. The food was lovely and came out quick as well, and the lively atmosphere is very enjoyable!

Big, jolly, relaxed food pub with good outside area

Excellent location with friendly staff and delicious food. Dogs welcome.
