The food is excellent.! . Service is a bit lacking. Looks like Staff could do with some training.. Could be better. Slow service. Drinks arrived after a long wait and some confusion. But the thing that really pissed me of, was the mad kids running around the green playing soccer among diners and people trying to enjoy the evening. Despite the big sign saying no ball playing. Obviously parents have no supervision over their kids. But management could be a bit stricter. Noone seemed to make any effort to put a stop to it. Kind of ruined the evening as we couldn't sit out and enjoy the river as to not be hit on a head with a ball. It used to be one of my favorite places but twice now I didn't enjoy the service and the place. Won't be back.

Dedicated parking across the road made this place my go-to when on a day trip in the area. Amazing seating and comfort, great and friend service. Food was fab as well. Chips were especially amazing.

We went there for lunch, it was very busy but they got us a table straight away, even though it was so busy the service and food was excellent. Lovely scenic area as well.

Busy popular place,its good for a rest & eat great food.Huge improvement after the renovation & very well run business.Well worth a visit. Very good COVID19 measures with a temperature check on entry,sanitiser at doorways & staff wear masks. Best to book a table beforehand these days. Latest visit Oct. 2021 & due to COVID19 we are still eating outdoors under the canopy.Booked for 7pm & some people are eating outside the canopy without heating. Latest visit Nov 2022 & back to normal dining.Quiet compared to before with less choice on the menu but the food is still cracking.Best Veggie Burger I ever had! Latest visit June 2026 car park is now tarmac & marked parking spaces.Speedbump on the road to slow the traffic & make it safer to cross from the car park.Top marks Anglers!

Lovely food. Great Staff. Nice atmosphere. Only small problem was they've no Smithwicks. But Guinness was good.

The teriyaki salmon was lovely, but what stood out what the dessert: tunes on orange cake with cardamom & pistachio creme - absolutely divine! The service is exceptional and the menu for kids has better options than fish/chicken and chips.

Very good breakfast and brunch. Coffee could be better.

Inside it's much bigger than it looks from the outside. Very good food, friendly staff
