24/07/2026: We had a very enjoyable meal at The Hollow and were impressed with both the quality of the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The fish dishes were excellent and it's easy to see why fish is considered a speciality here. The seasoned vegetables and mashed potatoes were particularly good – the mash was delicious, and all the accompaniments were cooked and presented beautifully. The bread also deserves a special mention, as it was exceptionally good. The ambience was warm and welcoming, making for a very pleasant dining experience. The only small criticism from our group was that one person found their burger a little dry. However, this was a minor issue and did not detract from what was otherwise an excellent meal. Overall, we were very happy with our visit and would gladly return.
