amazing pub and me and friends had the best time! played all the best live music classics with people singing along and we made so many friends. drink prices were also fair compared to other places nearby, so this was our go to for most of our trip. the only thing that left us with a negative experience was one rude security guard on the door, the other security were lovely while still doing their job. my friend was wearing his normal clothes however on his bottom half wearing dark jogging bottoms (we had no idea there was a dress code to dublin, so that's our fault) and got let in for a few hours until we went outside and he got kicked out later on in the evening by this man very rudely. i also noticed him being rude to homeless people, who were causing no grief or anti social behaviour (i would know, im a support worker) also if we were talking to others outside and being merry (while still causing no issues) he was volatile and would ask us to move away from the pub including other guests, rudely again. it is a shame as the place is lovely. i understand security have a tough gig but do it with kindness, otherwise it'll just drive people away x

This pub is an absolutely incredible place to spend a night if you are in Temple Bar! Good atmosphere, friendly bartenders, reasonable prices, brilliant live music and was a highlight of our trip to Dublin. However, the experience was slightly soured by a rather aggressive and foul doorman who threw me out (despite having already been in the pub without issue prior) for the sole basis of my trousers, which i hadnt had issue with in any other pub. On a later visit I was let in, but we witnessed the same bouncer being incredibly rude to a homeless man who was minding his own business , and displaying over all power-hungry behavior towards patrons standing outside. A real shame given how nice the pub was otherwise. All in all a great pub and everything besides that one bouncer was excellent, but his attitude and rudeness really left a lot to be desired.

Great bar in the heart of the Temple Bar district. However, the prices are hefty, so an evening can put a dent in your bank account...

If you're looking for the perfect pint of Guinness, The Auld Dubliner is the go to. The pint of Murphy's was a cracking pint too. The atmosphere is amazing and there's always someone singing/live music. Lots of bar staff and the service was great. You must try this place it's easy one of the best in Temple bar

Personal amable.

Pig's Ear

19/03/2025: We had very enjoyable and extremely tasty meal at The Pig’s Ear. The menu is a real adventure with our favourites being the Lamb Barnsley Chops, the Jammet’s Mixed Grill, the Bitterballen and the Violets & Roses Blancmange. All with a modern twist but the bones are very Irish. Service and chats were great, glasses of wine generous, and a wonderful window view to boot.
19/03/2025: The appetizers and main course were really delicious. The desserts were not very tasty and came out like vomit. The service was good, I recommend it.
